More price reductions across the range

Follows recent pricing announcements in February and autumn 2025

Extension of 1.9% finance on GSX-S1000 and V-Strom 1050 range

5.9% finance available on the rest of its big bike lineup

Suzuki is continuing to deliver on its promise of bringing exceptional value to the market, with further price reductions across its range. Over the last 12 months Suzuki has cut the OTR prices of 13 models in its lineup, with the GSX-S1000GX+ reduced by a sizeable 2,900 over that time.

The GSX-S1000GT+ has had another 1,000 taken off its price taking its total price reduction over the last year to 2,000 dropping it to 11,999 OTR, with the GSX-S1000GX+ complete with its semi-active suspension, new winglets, and 36-litre panniers is just 12,999.

Suzukis GSX-8T and GSX-8TT retros built on the firms award-winning new 800cc platform have seen 1,000 cut from their prices, dropping them to 8,599 and 8,999 respectively.

Theres good news for learner riders or those looking for commuting solutions in the city, with the GSX-S and GSX-R125 machines both now 3,999, a reduction of 1,000 and 1,200.

The reductions follow the announcement of Suzukis recent pricing realignment of its scooter range, with the retro-styled Address 125 only 2,099, which represents exceptional value, especially with the addition of Suzukis 10-year-warranty. Suzuki also recently lowered the prices of its 800RE and 800DE V-Stroms, which are now 9,499 and 9,999.

Over the last year Suzuki has also lowered the prices of its GSX-S1000, Katana, Burgman Street 125EX, and Avenis 125.

Suzuki GB head of motorcycles, Jonathan Martin, said, Over the last year weve been listening closely to our dealer partners and working in conjunction with our colleagues in Japan to realign pricing across a number of models in the range. Our recent price changes reaffirm our commitment to providing value for customers, and will allow more riders to experience the quality, performance, and fun that Suzuki is synonymous with. Add to that our reputation for bullet-proof reliability and a 10-year-warranty scheme, and an extensive dealer support network, and I think its hard to find another brand that can compete with the claim that Suzuki is offering the most value for customers on the market right now.

As well as the savings on the list prices of a number of models in the range, Suzuki GB has also announced the extension of its low-rate, 1.9% APR finance deal, which is available over four years with a minimum 1,000 deposit, on both PCP and HP agreements.

As part of the offer, the 10,999 GSX-S1000 can be had for 95 per month on a four-year PCP deal, with a 1,971.20 deposit. Also included are the V-Strom 1050RE and 1050DE machines.

On every other model over 400cc Suzuki is offering 5.9% APR finance over three years with a minimum 1,000 deposit.

The newest member of the W family nods to the past but rides full throttle into the future. With design inspired by the 1965 650-W1 model, the all-new W230 motorcycle packs a modern punch with Kawasakis proven 233cc fuel-injected 4-stroke engine. The original icon continues with a lightweight, low seat height, and friendly power character that opens up &#039;60s design to more riders than ever before.

The bike will be arriving in January in limited numbers and will be priced at 4,654. Those attending Motorcycle Live over the next nine days will be able to see the machine from tomorrow, with the W230 on display alongside the entire 2026 Kawasaki range.

Craig Watson, Sales and Marketing Manager at Kawasaki Motors UK:
The W230 is a fantastic bike that we are excited to start selling in Kawasaki dealers from January. With only a small number of bikes arriving next year, customers will have to be quick to secure theirs.

    <title>Suzuki reveals SV-7GX at Eicma</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/suzuki-reveals-sv-7gx-at-eicma</link>
    <description>
        Suzuki has revealed a new SV-7GX, which was unveiled today at Eicma in Milan, Italy. The covers were also pulled off an updated GSX-S1000GX.

The SV-7GX uses an updated version of Suzukis proven and somewhat legendary 645cc V-twin engine, which is now fully-compliant with the latest Euro5+ emissions regulations. Peak power is 73PS and peak torque is 64Nm. Aiding efficiency and performance is a new magneto, transmission gears, airbox, a ride-by-wire throttle, and a new exhaust system.

As the GX suffix suggests, the SV-7GX will provide a middleweight sports crossover option in the Suzuki lineup, alongside the range-topping GSX-S1000GX.

A steel trellis frame is equipped with suspension from KYB, which provides a plush ride quality designed to make it easy to cover distance in comfort on the 7GX. The seat height remains accessible for a multitude of riders at 795mm. Wheels are new cast aluminium 17, front and rear, and are shod with Pirelli Angel GT 2 tyres. They work with the chassis to provide the sport element to the new sports crossover. Tokico calipers and twin 290mm discs provide the stopping power.

Tall, wide, tapered aluminium bars provide an upright and comfortable riding position, but place weight over the front tyre enough to generate feel and allow riders to enjoy the sporty side of the 7GX when away from the motorway or dual carriageways. Handguards come as standard.

On the electronics side, smartphone connectivity comes as standard and allows riders to access everything from maps to contacts and messages from intuitive switchgear on the left handlebar. All information is displayed via a colour TFT screen, which also indicates the selected throttle map, with three to choose from, as well as the chosen traction control setting, also with three to choose from, as well as off. Theres a USB-C charging port on the left hand side. The electronics package also includes a standard-fit bi-directional quickshifter for seamless up and down gear changes.

Wind-tunnel tested bodywork shields the rider from the worst of the elements and provides aerodynamic efficiency, with styling cues taken from the bigger GSX-S1000GX. Theres a 17.4-litre fuel tank. Lighting is full LED all round, with a new asaerial design at the front for improved illumination and visibility while cornering.

An accessories catalogue includes a 45-litre top box, soft panniers, tank bags, and heated grips.

Pricing for the SV-7GX will be announced in due course, with the arrival set for late summer, 2026.

        Suzuki has also announced updates to the GSX-S1000GX.

The ultimate sports crossover model which was revealed at Eicma only two years ago has received a round of subtle updates to further improve its performance as a motorcycle adept at both covering long distances in speed and comfort, as well as offering up sporting intentions when the rider wants to enjoy a more twisty, winding route.

A suite of changes includes the addition of new winglets to the GXs fairing, improving downforce and enhancing stability at high speeds. Modifications to the mirror mountings reduce vibrations for clearer rearward visibility.

The GSX-S1000GX puts out 152PS and 106Nm of torque from its 999cc inline four-cylinder engine. A twin-spar aluminium frame and GSX-R-derived swingarm is suspended by semi-active electronic suspension from Showa.

A colour TFT screen shows selected modes of a plethora of rider aids, including seven IMU-governed traction control settings, and the ability to disengage entirely. Those traction control settings are also linked to Suzukis roll torque control system and an anti-wheelie system. Lean-angle sensitive ABS, a bi-directional quickshifter, and cruise control also come as standard, along with smartphone connectivity.

In the UK the GSX-S1000GX will be available solely as a GX+ variant, which means it will come with free 36-litre panniers as standard.

It will arrive in early 2026 with an OTR price of 14,999.

Suzuki also confirmed that the e-Address, first revealed at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo in New Delhi in January this year, will form part of its European model range in 2026, More information will be released in due course.

    <title>Push the Limit: New 2026 Ninja ZX-10R</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/push-the-limitnew-2026-ninja-zx-10r</link>
    <description>
        Undisputably the Ninja ZX-10R is a true champion machine. History making, the litre class Ninja has carried Kawasaki riders to seven WorldSBK titles and delivered the thrill of exploring limits on track to a wide range of riders.

For 2026, this already formidable model is raised to the next level with a host of changes and upgrades - the most notable of which is a radical new aero package featuring large winglets that significantly increase downforce at high speeds enhancing front-end feel while cornering, contributing to reduced lap times.

Setting the wings angle of attack Kawasaki engineers considered the trade-off between lift (ClfA) and drag (CdA). With the increased frontal area of the larger winglets downforce generation (or lift suppression) from the new winglets increased by approximately 25%.

Compact projector/reflector hybrid headlights, a repositioned Ram Air intake and the prominent new winglets give the Ninja ZX-10R its new 2026 face, enhancing the strong family image.

Power wise, the Ninja ZX-10Rs engine balances stunning on-demand power with manageability and, for maximum track-riding efficiency, great care was taken to ensure ideal engine response during all parts of the corner. The new Euro5+ engine maintains the high performance feeling of its predecessor while offering improved emissions via such additions such as a second O2 sensor.

Circuit-focused settings for the WorldSBK-developed BFF (Balance Free Front Fork) and BFRC lite (Balance Free Rear Cushion) shock facilitate front-rear weight transfer and contribute to light handling. At the same time updates to the chassis geometrytuned to match the effect of the new wingletscontribute to improved rear-wheel traction and enhanced secondary cornering force, Dual high-spec Brembo M50 monobloc calipers gripping large 330 mm discs, and a radial-pump master cylinder deliver next-level braking performance.

In the cockpit, a larger 5 all-digital TFT colour meter creates a high-tech, high-grade appearance. It also offers additional features unavailable on the previous model while Rideology The App Motorcycle* allows the rider to link their machine via wireless connection to their Smartphone revealing a comprehensive suite of information and adjustments. Turn by Turn navigation is also a new feature for 2026 showing just how practical Ninja ZX-10R ownership is while Voice Command technology makes its debut.

Moving to the next level, the track-focused Ninja ZX-10RR for 2026 continues to feature Pankl connecting rods and pistons plus braided front brake hoses. Adjustable hlins steering damper with twin-tube design is fitted as standard equipment to both the ZX-10RR and ZX-10R.

Always a stand-out motorcycle, the Ninja ZX-10R and its track twin, the ZX-10RR naturally demand attention. Now for 2026 that attention is refocused on machines with refined performance and emissions figures, a growing suite of rider aids and now, a distinctive and effective aero package thanks for new downforce generating wings. Once more Kawasaki and the illustrious Ninja ZX-10R are ready to Push the Limit.

    <title>2026 Z900RS: Legends Never End</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/2026-z900rslegends-never-end</link>
    <description>
        Proudly displaying its illustrious ancestry, the 2026 Z900RS boasts a number of key refinements adding to its rider-centric personality proving that legends never end.
The timeless Z iconic retro sport receives a range of updates to engine, chassis and electronics elevating the RS theme to the next level while not taking its famous roots for granted. Its no surprise then that, for 2026, the new Z900RS and its Z900RS SE sibling - move the game forward in some key areas.

At the heart of the Z900RS lays a powerplant tuned for smooth performance at low rpm and greater excitement at higher revs. That stays for 2026, but new features abound such as Electronic Throttle Valves (ETV), Electronic cruise control and a IMU-equipped rider support technology package that includes Kawasaki Cornering Management Function (KCMF) and an up/down Kawasaki Quick Shifter (KQS).

Forming a bridge between technical and styling, a new tuned megaphone-style muffler and reshaped exhaust header pipes give the bike an even more expressive appearance and sound, emphasising the timeless Z concept.

And speaking of looks, the 2026 Z900RS continues a seamless blend of Z1-inspired styling elements and modern craftsmanship from the iconic teardrop fuel tank and distinctive tail design to the innovative oval LED taillight.

Exquisite attention to detail and superb fit-and-finish results in a high-quality appearance while functional beauty remains a priority. As example, stylish highlighted fins integrated into the cylinder head create the impression of an air-cooled engine.

Suspension and brake components are comparable to those of a modern supersport model with a 41 mm inverted fork with adjustable damping plus horizontal back-link rear suspension contributing to the comfortable ride and sporty performance. Radial-mount front brakes deliver linear braking feel with excellent controllability.

An upright and relaxed riding position offers both comfort and control. Also, when equipped with the accessory Low Seat at 810mm compared with a standard height of 835mm and an SE seat height of 845mm, the Z900RS better accommodates a wider range of riders enhancing overall appeal and manageability.

Smartphone connectivity allows riders to connect to their machine wirelessly using Rideology The App Motorcycle for an enhanced motorcycling experience.

The SE variant features a Brembo brake package including front calipers and 300 mm Brembo disc rotors with steel braided hoses plus a high-grade hlins rear shock with remote reservoir adjuster to deliver a plusher ride feel and even greater control. A USB-C socket appears on the right side of the handlebar while the overall look echoes a variation of the iconic Fireball, Z1 colouring using enhanced saturation orange graphics and a body colour changed from brown to metallic black. The two additional standard models are the Blackball with Fireball style body emblems and an impactful all-black appearance plus an evocation of the 1975 Z1B colourway in stunning Candy Tone Red.

    <title>The New KLE500: Life’s a Rally, Ride it.</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/the-new-kle500lifes-a-rally-ride-it</link>
    <description>
        Kawasakis new KLE500 rally styled adventure bike is ready to reveal new horizons. With its off-road rally styling and light yet strong multi-purpose trellis chassis, the new for 2026 KLE500 is propelled towards adventure by Kawasakis highly praised assist and slipper clutch equipped parallel-twin, water-cooled engine.

Styling wise, the eye is first drawn to the tall windshield, which, together with the raised, short 16l fuel tank, lends the bike a purpose-built look inspired by off-road rally machines complemented by bright and efficient front and rear LED lighting.

Built to reward a wide variety of riders, the European A2 licence compliant KLE500 enjoys carefully crafted KX inspired seat, footpeg handlebar relationship plus stylish protection from the wind and elements thanks to a three position adjustable screen. Riding off-pavement feels natural with a riding position that is equally comfortable standing on the footpegs or sitting down. For the keen eyed, KX motocross-inspired design touches are evidenced in the long, smooth side covers and slim fuel tank which create a seamless rider interface facilitating mobility.

Speaking of seating, four unique setups are possible with the addition of the ERGO-FIT Pillion Seat (Low) and Low Front Seat available as genuine accessories. Riders can find their ideal seating arrangement, whether it is the standard combination (High/High seats) aimed at on-road comfort and day-to-day use, complete with specially-designed cushioning for long-ride comfort, or a fully flat setup (High/Low seats) facilitating greater rider mobility during off-road riding.

Around town, the urban ergonomics are just as comfortable encouraging not just relaxed city rides but longer weekend touring adventures made more convenient by the option of an accessory luggage system.

As you would expect, the KLE500 arrives in a wheel combination of 21 front and 17 rear shod with IRC GP-410 tyres. Suspension duties are ably catered for with specially developed KYB cartridge-type inverted front fork plus a New Uni-Trak rear suspension delivering outstanding feedback and compliance in all riding situations. Highly effective front and rear disc brakes offer sure stopping power while selectable ABS* allows riders to disable the ABS function according to their preference.

For a premium feel and enhanced comfort both on and off the pavement, an SE model offers LED indicators, TFT instrumentation plus a complete package that encompasses a larger windshield, sturdy hand guards and a large skid plate.

Both the TFT meter of the SE and the LCD of the standard model allow Smartphone connectivity to access Kawasakis unique Rideology The App Motorcycle smartphone application. A number of instrument functions can be accessed such as riding log, navigation and even voice command.

Fitting for such a machine, numerous Kawasaki genuine accessories include top case, panniers, rear carrier, grip heaters, USB Type-C outlet, engine guard, LED fog lamps, centre stand, radiator screen and GPS bracket. Also, an Akrapovic titanium bodied with carbon heatshield upswept silencer is available for European Market.

First introduced in the UK in 1991, the KLE500 is now returning to the Kawasaki range, so fans can once more immerse themselves in the twin delights of paved and unpaved adventure; after all Lifes a Rally Ride It!

*Local laws may require ABS to remain active when riding on public roads.

The KLE500 will be available from March in the below colours, with pricing TBC.

    <title>Level Up with the new Z650 S</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/level-up-with-the-new-z650-s</link>
    <description>
        Boasting muscular new looks, the new for 2026 Z650 S takes a fresh approach to ergonomic fit with repositioned footpegs, a stunning new fat-type handlebar configuration plus updates for both rider and passenger seating. The new forward-leaning riding position marries well with an updated, more cushioned front seat (approx. 15 mm higher than the previous Z650). The overall seating area is wider while the rear seat is 20 mm wider, with 10 mm of added cushioning. Both a Style seat and 20mm lower ERGO-Fit seat are part of the comprehensive accessory range.

For rider and pedestrian alike, the impression is of a substantial machine a bike with real presence but still with good reach to the ground. Thanks, in part, to the greater overall bodywork volume, the strength of purpose is underlined by a new, aggressive front cowl housing LED front lights two upper for low beam lighting and single lower for the high beam matched by an LED rear light and LED indicators.

There is much to admire such as the aluminium radiator covers upfront while the compact, upswept and sharply defined tail features a layered design accentuating the underlying menace of the machine. Metallic accents abound add to the high-quality look.

        Not just a new riding position and 30mm wider handlebars, but also a new 4.3inch TFT meter panel relays all the essential information plus reacts to ambient light offering the best resolution. The display can also be switched between two options. Type one reveals a bar-style tachometer while type two boasts a hexagonal tachometer. The screens background colour automatically changes from white to black when ambient light is low, or it can be manually set to black or white as per the riders preference. In addition, the meter acts as an interface when the rider uses Kawasakis Rideology the App Motorcycle on their Smartphone expanding the range of cool features available.

In terms of the engine, the addictive 649 cm3 compact parallel twin delivers a powerful-feeling throttle response and a quick-revving character with KTRC traction control as standard. To optimise performance for everyday riding, care has been taken to maximise low-mid range torque. Equipped with Assist and Slipper Clutch, a patented radiator fan cover directs hot air down and away from the rider, significantly increasing congested city comfort. Additionally an O2 sensor is added to the exhaust system to assist with reducing emissions while a quick shifter is available as an accessory aiding upshifts.

The characteristic lightweight trellis type chassis tips the scales at just 15kg contributing to nimble handling while braking is courtesy of dual 300 mm front discs and 220 mm at the rear. The ABS unit for 2026 is a new item from Continental.

        A carefully focused range of accessories also accompany the new Z650 S including colour matched pillion seat covers, luggage options and a convenient USB-C outlet neatly located inside the front cowl.

The S in the new Z650 S could stand for Stunning Style Stage or Spotlight representing a new eye-catching new approach and attitude. Its time to level up and greet the new Z650 S.

Priced at 7,199, the 2026 Z650 S will be in dealers from January and available in three colours:

    <title>New liveries for 2026 Ninja 125 and Z125</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/new-liveries-for-2026-ninja-125-and-z125</link>
    <description>
        For Kawasaki and Kawasaki fans - Ninja and Z are venerated families and the desire to belong has created entry level machines in the form of the Z125 plus Ninja 125. By any standards, these are machines that display all the presence and qualities of their larger capacity siblings. And for 2026, both machines will be offered in a variety of new liveries.

With an enviable heritage that stretches back to 1972 for the Z brand and 1984 in terms of the Ninja line, the lineage of these two thoroughly modern machines is inescapable. The Z125 and Ninja 125 each represent an ideal entry to the wide world of motorcycling for a wide range of powered two-wheeler enthusiasts including those new to biking focusing on the important A1 licence category.

Each utilising a tubular trellis type chassis construction similar to Kawasakis top of the range Supercharged Ninja and Z machines, the 125cc offerings focus on an idealised balance of style, engineering and durability which entry level riders rightly expect.

The Ninja 125 has bodywork redolent Ninja machines racing machines and is equipped with a 15PS (11KW) engine with controllability and classic Ninja urge throughout the rev range. Reassuring around town and with great low to mid-range flexibility, the rider feels the benefit of Supersport ergonomics (that include a 20mm higher seat as an Ergofit accessory option) and a cockpit view that encompasses all-digital instrumentation. Add Uni-Trak rear suspension, 37 mm telescopic front forks plus dependable ABS brakes and the Ninja 125 is sure to be at the head of many riders wish list; and justifiably so.

For Z heads, the Z125 bathes in Kawasakis unique Sugomi design approach balancing engineering with styling while being the smallest in the revered naked class family sharing the same frame technology and engine configuration as its 125cc capacity cousin.

A1 licence compliant, the Z125 is also equipped with the same suspension set up and, likewise, benefits from all-digital meters and advanced ABS braking plus the option of a 25mm lower Ergofit accessory seat. Offering the same distinctive look and feel as other street focused members of the Z family, the Z125 provides a great introduction to the world of naked category motorcycling.

Both bikes will be available from October, with colours and pricing below:

    <title>New MY26 colours for Kawasaki cruisers</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/new-my26-colours-for-kawasaki-cruisers</link>
    <description>
        Kawasakis mid-capacity cruiser range gets some livery updates for the 2026 season to keep these popular machines at the forefront of their style sector.

The three machines one Vulcan and two Eliminators - are attractive to many types of rider including those with European A2 licences looking to migrate up from a smaller capacity machine. But that is only one area where Kawasaki cruisers score as a growing number of older and more experienced riders are finding that the 500cc to 650cc arena caters perfectly for not just their performance expectations but also the size and weight of these machines means they are eminently manageable.

With its water-cooled 649cc parallel twin engine, the Vulcan S has, over a number of years, carved itself a reputation for style, performance and durability. The combination of a sleek 18 inch front wheel and traditional wide rear 17 inch item is allied to effective cruiser styling and a relaxed ergonomic riding position that can be revised due to the use of Kawasakis Ergo-Fit accessory items covering both handlebar position and reach to the foot controls. Retaining its ever popular Metallic Flat Spark Black option for the 26 model year, the Vulcan S can now also be optioned in a Metallic Graphite Gray/ Metallic Flat Spark Black livery.

Kawasaki dealer showrooms will also display two versions of the recently launched Eliminator 500 in 2026, those being the standard machine and the SE version. With their trellis type chassis and newly developed parallel twin, fuel-injected engines, the Eliminators have opened up cruiser style motorcycling to riders who had previously aspired to such a machine and either did not feel there was a model that suited their requirements or was beyond their budget.

At a maximum of 33.4 kW {45 PS}, these machines comfortably comply with EU A2 category licencing laws yet boast a finely balanced power to weight ratio that delivers Kawasakis traditional fun to ride character. While both machines share an advanced specification including digital instrumentation and a combination of 18 inch front and 16 inch rear wheels, the SE model also boasts a headlamp cowl and a convenient USB-C socket as standard fitment.

In terms of colours, the standard machine will still be available in Metallic Flat Spark Black while a new second colour of Metallic Imperial Red/Ebony will be offered. For the SE model the new colour for 2026 will be Metallic Matte Carbon Gray/Flat Ebony. Whatever the option chosen, Vulcan and Eliminator riders in 2026 can rest assured their choice of boulevard cruiser is already endorsed by an enthusiastic and loyal community of Kawasaki Cruiser owners.

The Vulcan S will be available from October, with prices starting from 7,199. The Eliminator 500 range will be available from January, with the standard model costing 5,999 and the SE version 6,399

    <title>Kawasaki Z650RS boasts three new 2026 colours</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/kawasaki-z650rs-boasts-three-new-2026-colours</link>
    <description>
        Harking back to the game-changing Z650-B1 of 1976, the Z650RS has been a Kawasaki fan favourite since its introduction for the 2022 model year.

Echoing the mantra of its forebear, the Z650RS offers not simply great all round performance in terms of engine response, handling and braking, but a seemingly timeless approach to styling initiated by the famous Z1 model Super Four then amplified by the Z650-B1. That kind of style never goes out of fashion, a fact underpinned by the legions of riders who have already invested in the Z650RS.

Whilst looking like a classic from the 1970s, the specification of the Z650RS is fiercely contemporary with ABS, dual throttle valves, 2-Mode traction control plus an assist and slipper clutch all as standard while retaining needle style meters and an evocative round headlamp albeit LED which puts traditional lights in the shade.

For many riders, the deciding factor, the icing on the cake, is the colour of their much anticipated new machine. And for 2026 no less than three colour options for the Z650RS will be available; these being Ebony, Metallic Ocean Blue and Candy Emerald Green.

Whatever the choice, being part of the Z650RS family imbues riders with a sense of belonging to a Z650 dynasty that will stretch way back exactly 50 years in 2026. A unique feeling and a super special bike.

The 2026 Z650RS will be available from November, costing 7,899.

    <title>Suzuki releases updated Address 125 scooter</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/suzuki-releases-updated-address-125-scooter</link>
    <description>
        Suzuki GB has announced the release of an updated Address 125 scooter, with a revised engine that produces more peak torque lower down the rev range, courtesy of changes to its camshaft profile and airbox. Theres also a revised frame, which is lighter, new wheels, and a new fuel tank that is both larger and lighter. Practicality is further boosted by an increase in underseat storage space.

Though the bodywork has been restyled, the Address 125 continues to embody classic scooter design. At its heart remains Suzukis Eco Performance engine (SEP), which has a proven track record for both performance and reliability, and already powers over seven million Suzuki scooters, globally.

The newest version meets the latest Euro 5+ emissions standards, achieving 148.6mpg, emitting just 45 g/km of CO. Peak torque increases to 10.2Nm and is now made at 5,000rpm, compared to 10Nm at 5,500rpm on the previous model and peak power is 8.4PS, made 250rpm further down the rev range than before, at 6,500rpm, resulting in punchier acceleration performance.

Changes to the camshaft profile improve combustion efficiency and engine performance. Specifically, the intake cam lifts higher to increase the amount of air intake, while the exhaust cam timing was adjusted to minimise overlap. The airbox capacity has also increased 10%, and one of the two exhaust catalytic converters has been eliminated.

Further measures to improve fuel efficiency include the adoption of an electromagnetic steel plate for the stator core, a change in the fuel injector mounting angle, modification of the CVT settings, and a lower idling rpm. The engine starts up more quietly thanks to the change from an overrunning clutch to a roller type one-way clutch, and the crankshaft was revised to accommodate this change.

An updated underbone frame is 1kg lighter than the previous version, and increases torsional rigidity by 25%. The result is contribution to excellent fuel economy, stability, and cornering performance. The modifications to the frame which also saw the rear suspension pivot point moved higher and further back also enabled other improvements, such as a larger under seat storage compartment, a larger airbox, and a bigger fuel tank. Despite increasing capacity from five to 5.3 litres, the new fuel tank is 25% lighter.

A combined braking system sees braking force distributed to both the front and rear wheels with a 190mm disc at the front and a 120mm drum at the rear when the left brake lever is operated.

Rider and pillion comfort is improved via a new seat and new pillion footpegs which are lighter and 15mm longer. Theres a wide, spacious floorboard for riders to adjust their feet position, and a new steel leg shield extends further to offer protection in case of a drop. Theres also a steel front mudguard.

The unique tail-mounted fuel cap of the previous model remains, but is now concealed via a colour-coded cap, which opens with the ignition key.

Underseat storage space is increased from 21.8 litres to 24.4 litres, and a second inner storage pocket has been added up front, with one housing a USB charging port, and there are two utility hooks to hang bags and two helmet hooks under the seat.

A sidestand and centre stand are standard equipment, and standard security features include a shutter that covers the ignition key hole that is opened by a magnet mechanism coded to the owners key.

Still wearing classic scooter styling, the rectangular headlight has been reshaped and boasts a classy chrome surround, and a new LED, U-shaped position light sits centrally below the Suzuki emblem, and is flanked by two additional LED position lights with integrated indicators. Theres also a U-shaped, LED rear taillight.

The 2026 Address 125 comes in Metallic Matt Stellar Blue, Pearl Grace White, and Metallic Matt Black No.2. It is available now with an OTR price of 2,599.

    <title>Nine new colours across six 2026 Ninja models</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/nine-new-colours-across-six-2026-ninja-models</link>
    <description>
        As a core brand family in the Kawasaki motorcycle portfolio, the announcement of new colourways for Ninja range models is always a sign that the new season is coming closer and for 2026 across the six models just announced there are set to be an impressive nine new colour options.

As the base model for Kawasakis WorldSSP racing team in the hands of rider, Jeremy Alcoba, the 636cc Ninja ZX-6R gains two new colours for a fresh sales season comprising Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray / Metallic Spark Black/Lime Green as a new livery plus an updated variation on the fan favourite Lime Green livery.

Sharing a similar engine capacity but configured as a parallel twin engine rather than the four cylinder ZX machine, the highly praised Ninja 650 will be offered in two new colour options in the upcoming range. Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray/Metallic Flat Spark Black and a Lime Green version will be available for the European A2 licence friendly machine that is also a go to for experienced riders looking for performance, maneuverability and compact dimensions.

Proudly featuring Kawasakis recently developed mid-capacity, water-cooled, twin-cylinder engine, the Ninja 500 and its special edition, SE sibling have been essential parts of the Kawasaki range of late (along with their Z equivalents) offering an easy plus fun-to-ride package that are just as simple to precisely place in the cut and thrust of city traffic as it they are when weekend riding on twisty roads. The Ninja 500 has one new colour in Metallic Flat Spark Black/Metallic Spark Black, while the SE model will be available in Lime Green and Metallic Matte Twilight Blue/Candy Persimmon Red.

In this pre-release of livery options for 2026 that leaves the high-revving and visceral Ninja ZX-4R as the final part of the initial pack. While the ZX-4R continues into 2026 with the same high impact colour and graphic treatment, the diminutive ZX-4RR will be in dealer showrooms in two brand new colorways for the 2026 model year, these being Lime Green and Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray/Metallic Spark Black

For such evocative machines as Ninja models are, the release of information relating to some fresh colour ways will be welcomed by fans eager to be part of Kawasakis constantly evolving Ninja story.

Despite a number of changes made to satisfy the latest emissions standards, the updates to the engine also enhance the GSX-R1000Rs performance potential, making it capable of withstanding the tuning required to compete successfully in premier class endurance, superbike, and superstock racing competitions.

The announcement comes ahead of the prestigious Suzuka 8-Hour endurance race in Japan and the third round of the 2025 FIM Endurance World Championship, a championship that the GSX-R1000 has won 15 times since 2001. The announcement also comes as part of this years 40th anniversary celebrations of the GSX-R range, when the GSX-R750F changed the world of sportsbikes forever in 1985. As a result, the GSX-R1000R will come in a trio of colour schemes inspired by classic GSX-R liveries of the past, each adorned with a 40th anniversary logo on the fairing and fuel tank.

        Engine

The GSX-R1000Rs 1000cc, inline four-cylinder engine still uses Suzukis MotoGP-developed variable valve timing system. Developed on the firms GSX-RR prototype racer, which won the 2020 MotoGP world championship, the mechanical system is built into the intake cam sprocket and an adjacent guide plate. It uses 12 steel balls and slanted grooves to rotate the sprocket and retard the intake valve timing at a pre-set rpm, boosting high-rpm power without sacrificing midrange and lower-rpm output. It also retains a finger follower valve train, though the shape of the fingers on both the intake and exhaust sides were changed and optimised to match the new cam profile. In addition, the exhaust valve diameter was changed from 24mm to 25mm, plus there are new camshafts and a wider cam chain. Maximum valve lift remains the same, with reduced overlap to help meet emissions targets.

Theres a new fuel pump to increase fuel pressure, and changes to the fuel injectors, with the secondary top feed injector changing from 10 to eight holes to contribute to cleaner emissions. To help maintain power output, new throttle bodies boast a larger bore; up to 48mm from 46mm, while air delivered to the throttle bodies travels through newly designed single-stage funnels, further boosting peak power.

New, forged aluminium pistons have short skirts, cutaway sides and a short, DLC-coated wrist pin to reduce friction. The piston heads were reshaped to increase the compression ratio to 13.8:1 and accommodate the size of the increased exhaust valve diameter. The new pistons contribute to power output, reduced vibration, and durability.

The connecting rods are chrome-molybdenum steel with a carburised surface treatment to increase strength and are designed to enhance reliability when under higher levels of tune for racing.

The crankshaft adopts a new design with thicker journals, increased from 35mm to 37mm, designed to accommodate higher loads and withstand higher levels of tune in racing environments, plus new crankcases were designed in conjunction with the new crankshaft.

As well as being highly attractive and etched with a GSX-R logo, the new exhaust silencer body is more compact, reducing its capacity from 8.3 to 5.5 liters. A larger capacity elliptical catalytic converter in the collector is positioned closer to the engine to facilitate quicker warming, which helps improve its performance.

Peak power is 195PS at 13,200rpm, with peak torque 110.0Nm at 11,000rpm.

        Chassis

The new GSX-R1000R uses the same lightweight twin-spar aluminium frame, subframe, and braced aluminium swingarm as the previous version. Suspension comes courtesy of Showa, with its balance free front forks at the front, and a balance free rear shock at the rear, and theres an electronically-controlled steering damper.

At the front, brakes are Brembo monoblock calipers, biting 320mm discs. At the rear sits a single caliper and 220m disc. Theres also a new ABS unit that saves 51 grams over the previous version GSX-R1000R. Lightweight cast aluminium wheels wear Bridgestone BATTLAX RACING STREET RS11 tyres: 120/70ZR17M/ at the front, 190/55ZR17M/C at the rear.

Developed in conjunction with the Suzuki CN Challenge race team, which contested the 2024 Suzuka 8-Hour with an experimental GSX-R1000R, new winglets provide increased downforce at higher speeds, aiding stability and reducing wheelie. Produced in Japan, they are made of dry carbon with a hollow structure, and the size and shape of the winglets were developed through a long process of experimental builds and thorough test runs to achieve the optimum effect without making handling feel heavy.

        Electronics

An updated suite of electronics further enhances the GSX-R1000Rs performance potential and allows riders to tailor its character to suit their preferences or riding conditions. Armed with a six direction IMU, the GSX-R1000R gets an updated traction control system that incorporates Suzukis new Roll Torque Control and anti-wheelie, with 10 modes to choose from plus the ability to disengage entirely.

Suzukis Roll Torque Control uses data from the IMU and wheel speed sensors to calculate the bikes lean angle and speed to predetermine what level of power output is optimal. It works in conjunction with the traction control to deliver a sense of stability through the corner. Its benefit is that it works to prevent wheel spin, rather than activate when slip is detected, making for more seamless acceleration and the reduced cutting of power and pumping.

Theres a ride-by-wire throttle, bi-directional quickshifter, lean angle-sensitive ABS and slope-dependent control, launch control, low RPM assist, and Suzukis easy start function.

A new Li-ion HY battEliiy P-series starter battery is more compact and lightweight, and is designed with a focus on exceptional reliability, durability, enhanced startability, and an extended lifespan.

Headlights, positioning lights, and taillights are full LED.

        Styling

Three new colour schemes pay homage to classic GSX-R liveries of old, with a classic blue and white take joined by a red and white version and a yellow and matt blue option. Each features a 40th anniversary decal on the fairing and the fuel tank. A retro R logo adorns the bellypan of all three. There are also GSX-R logos on the seat and exhaust silencer, and the magneto and clutch covers are finished in grey.

        Pricing and availability

The GSX-R1000R will arrive in UK dealerships in the spring of 2026, with pricing to be announced in due course. It will be on display at MCL at the NEC in November.

    <title>Suzuki launches new retro models: GSX-8T and GSX-8TT</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/suzuki-launches-new-retro-modelsgsx-8t-and-gsx-8tt</link>
    <description>
        Suzuki has launched two brand-new models on its award-winning 800cc platform, with the GSX-8T and GSX-8TT combining retro spirit with next generation performance. The 8T takes styling cues from classic bikes of the 1960s and 1970s, such as the iconic Suzuki T500, while the 8TT builds on that platform further but with inspiration coming from the faired race bikes of the period, such as the legendary Yoshimura GS1000 AMA superbike.

Both models use Suzukis 776cc parallel twin engine with its 270 crankshaft design, which gives it unrivalled drive and lowdown power, while double overhead cams and four valves per cylinder enable a free-revving nature.

The engine is housed in a twin-spar steel frame with a separate lightweight subframe. An electronics suite comprises traction control, power modes, a bi-directional quickshifter, and colour TFT screen.

Both the 8T and 8TT get a new fuel tank, seat, seat unit, and handlebars complete with bar-end mirrors.

The 8T adopts a new round headlight with full LED lighting, blending modern technology with classic styling. The 8TT adds a headlight cowling that shares more than a passing resemblance to vintage road race machinery from the 70s and 80s.

Design
The 8T and 8TTs design brief was to produce two machines that embody the retro spirit of Suzukis heritage and iconic models of past decades. Drawn by designers in Italy and further sculpted in Japan, both models use a new 16.5-litre fuel tank, which connects each side to new radiator shrouds brushed silver on the 8T and black on the 8TT adorned with the circular GSX8 logo.

The 8T evokes the charm of classic bikes, and a new circular headlight design with a flat bottom section is further reminiscent of motorcycles of the 70s and 80s, though it is full-LED with a bright, horizontal LED strip across the middle.

Inspired by classic road race machines, the 8TT retains the same headlight unit as its 8T stablemate but wraps it in a cowling that bears a striking resemblance to the GS1000S of the late 1970s. It is fitted with a screen that further completes the look, as well as providing the functional benefit of added weather protection.

New circular bar-end mirrors ensure a sleek and low profile. Their design was refined to ensure visual harmony with the overall silhouette, and special attention was paid to detail, including hand-polishing the parting lines and gate marks of the aluminium die-cast stays. The mirrors offer excellent rearward visibility by minimising interference from the riders body.

Underneath the 776cc parallel twin engine, the 8TT also adopts a lower cowling, further enhancing its racier aesthetic.

A new seat, inspired by the tuck-and-roll seats of the 1960s and 70s slots onto the top of the subframe of the 8T. It features high-density foam cushioning for enhanced comfort and a premium riding experience. Additionally, the shape of the seat front improves ease of mounting and dismounting and provides excellent foot reach.

On the 8TT the seat still ensures a comfortable ride but is finished with a flatter top more reminiscent of race bike seats.

With a matt finish to its black seat unit, brushed radiator shrouds, gold forks, and black wheels, the GSX-8T will be available with a Candy Burnt Gold, Metallic Matt Steel Green, or Metallic Matt Black fuel tank.

The 8TT adds more pops of colour and retro racing flair thanks to striped decals on its tank and cowling, with matching wheels. A Glass Sparkle Black variant is offset by red wheels and red and gold decals, while a Pearl Matt Shadow Green version is completed with gold wheels and gold and bronze stripes.

        Engine
While retro spirit comes from the styling of the 8T and 8TT, next generation performance is delivered by Suzukis award-winning 776cc parallel twin engine; widely praised for its drive from the bottom end and through its midrange, making it a useable, flexible, and fun powerplant. This character and punchy performance is enhanced by a 270 crankshaft design, helping fire the 8T and 8TT from corner to corner. Peak torque is 78Nm at 6800rpm, and peak power comes in at 82.9PS at 8500rpm.

A cross balancer reduces vibrations and aids in the motors compact design, and a short exhaust muffler keeps the bikes side profile clean and compact while still providing an exciting exhaust note.

Chassis
Both models use the same steel frame and subframe, and aluminium swingarm. They are suspended by upside down KYB forks gold on the 8T and black on the 8TT and a KYB rear shock. Wide, tapered aluminium handlebars provide an engaging and comfortable riding position, offering plenty of leverage for steering input. Stopping power comes via twin 310mm discs up front with radially-mounted Nissin calipers, and a 240mm disc at the rear.

Electronics
Sat atop the retro headlight is a fully-modern colour TFT screen, displaying all the information the rider needs, including rev counter, speedo, and gear position indicator, as well as the selected traction control setting with three available to choose from, plus off and the chosen power mode from A, B, or C. Making for slick gear changes is a bi-directional quickshifter as standard, plus Suzukis easy-start and low RPM assist systems.

Both models also come with a USB Type-C socket as standard, which also supports fast charging.

Developed by Eliiy Power using advanced energy storage technology, a new, compact, lightweight battery offers reliability, durability, enhanced startability, and long life with minimal self-discharge.

Pricing and availability
The GSX-8T and GSX-8TT will come with an OTR price of 9,599 and 9,999 respectively and will be arriving in dealerships in the coming weeks. Both come with Suzukis standard three-year warranty plus up to seven-years extended warranty, activated by regular servicing at an authorised Suzuki dealership.

    <title>Pricing announced for new Suzuki DR-Z4S and DR-Z4SM</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/pricing-announced-for-new-suzuki-dr-z4s-and-dr-z4sm</link>
    <description>
        Suzuki GB has announced pricing for the new DR-Z4S and DR-Z4SM models, which were revealed at Eicma last year. Both the dual-purpose trail bike, the DR-Z4S, and its supermoto stablemate, the DR-Z4SM, will come with an OTR price of 7,999.

Both bikes use a new 398cc single-cylinder engine and a new twin-spar steel frame with a separate, bolt-on aluminium subframe and aluminium swingarm. The DR-Z4S sports 21 and 18 spoked wheels and long-travel suspension from KYB, with 280mm of fork travel, 296mm of rear wheel travel, and 300mm of ground clearance. The SM is equipped with 17 wheels and has 260mm of front suspension travel and 277mm rear wheel travel.

An electronics package comprises three power modes and two standard traction control modes, a tailored off-road traction control setting, plus the ability to disengage the system entirely. Theres also the ability to disengage the ABS at the rear or at both ends on the 4S, for more control off-road, and at the rear of the 4SM.

Both models channel RM-Z-inspired styling, with the DR-Z4S available in Suzukis trademark off-road yellow as well as dark grey, while the 4SM comes in white and a new blue/grey livery, dubbed Sky Grey.

When the bikes arrive in dealerships at the end of the summer buyers will benefit from Suzukis standard three-year warranty and can enjoy the extended seven-year service activated warranty if they have their DR-Z serviced at an authorised Suzuki dealership.

Suzuki GBs head of motorcycles, Jonathan Martin, said, These may be spiritual successors to the DR-Z400S and DR-Z400SM, and they take everything that made those bikes so popular such as their robustness and reliability but they build on that foundation and reputation with a brand-new chassis and a new version of our 400cc single cylinder engine.

Delivering superior levels of performance in their respective categories was our aim; for instance, ensuring the DR-Z4S is equipped with a suspension package that can take on the roughest of trails and will perform for an experienced rider off-road, while also remaining friendly for a newer rider. Engine capacity remains the same as the previous DR-Z models, but cumulative torque is improved, which in turn gives a linear throttle response and predictable power delivery, important for negotiating tougher trails or picking up the throttle out of corners on the track.

Were looking forward to seeing them in dealerships and are sure buyers or those taking a test ride will feel the high quality, impressive performance, but also our commitment to providing value.

Both models come with Suzukis standard three-year manufacturer warranty and are eligible for Suzukis extended seven-year warranty through regular servicing.

    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/suzuki-gsx-8r-kiiro-limited-editionown-the-road</link>
    <description>
        Lets Explore the Suzuki GSX-8R KIIRO Limited Edition

Suzuki has dropped a real showstopper - the GSX-8R KIIRO Limited Edition. With only 60 units built for global release, this rare machine takes everything we love about the GSX-8R and turns the exclusivity up to max.

After a ride that sets you apart? The KIIRO edition is built for riders who appreciate both power and presence. It packs all the performance of the GSX-8R, but wraps it in a distinctive design and numbered badging that marks it as something very special. Here&#039;s what makes this limited-edition Suzuki a true standout.

        Head-Turning Design With That KIIRO Edge
Suzuki has taken the already aggressive stance of the GSX-8R and sharpened it even further for the KIIRO Limited Edition. Dressed in striking Pearl Ignite Yellow and contrasted with black and grey detailing across the subframe and wheels, its a colourway that turns heads wherever you ride.

Each of these exclusive bikes comes with its own individually numbered tank badge and custom KIIRO graphics, giving every rider that unique, one-of-a-kind feel. Add in a colour-coded seat cowl and youve got a bike that doesnt just perform - it looks ready for the track, even when its standing still. Its the kind of design that makes a statement before the engine even fires.

        Performance That Packs a Punch - KIIRO Specs
Its not just the looks that impress. Underneath, the KIIRO retains the core performance that makes the GSX-8R such a favourite in the middleweight class. At its heart is the 776cc parallel-twin engine, known for its smooth delivery and meaty torque throughout the rev range - whether youre winding through country roads or heading out for a longer blast.

Suspension is handled by fully adjustable Showa front and rear units, letting you set up the bike exactly how you want it. <title>All-new DR-Z4S and DR-Z4SM set to bring the fun in 2025</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/all-new-dr-z4s-and-dr-z4sm-set-to-bring-the-fun-in-2025</link>
    <description>
        Suzuki has revealed all-new DR-Z4S and DR-Z4SM models, with the covers pulled off the dual sport and supermoto machines today, November 5, at Eicma in Milan, Italy.

Spiritual successors to the popular DR-Z400S and DR-Z400SM models of the noughties, the two fresh 400s use a new twin-spar steel frame with a separate, bolt-on aluminium subframe and aluminium swingarm, housing a new 398cc single-cylinder engine. Theres also an electronics package that includes power modes, switchable ABS, and a sophisticated traction control system with off-road modes.

Designed to bring the fun to whatever environment, they promise to make Your World, Your Playground.

        Engine

Powering both the DR-Z4S and DR-Z4SM is a new 398cc, single-cylinder, liquid cooled, DOHC four-stroke engine. The new engine was designed to meet Euro 5B, while maintaining the reputation of robustness and reliability the engine found in the previous generation DR-Z400 was famed for. It provides a smooth, linear power delivery with stronger torque at lower rpm and increased power output to the rev limit, plus improved fuel economy.

When compared to the previous DR-Z400 engine, there are changes to almost every aspect, from lightweight titanium intake valves and hollow, sodium-filled exhaust valves to new cam profiles and piston. A new cylinder head is equipped with twin spark plugs, there are new crankcases, and a new slipper clutch with Suzukis Clutch Assist System.

Fuelling comes courtesy of a ride-by-wire, 42mm bore, electronic throttle body and a 10-hole fuel injector. Theres a new air box, and a new exhaust. The result is a broader spread of power across the rev range, strong drive yet smooth ride, a direct, linear throttle response, and improved fuel economy.

Peak power is 38PS at 8,000rpm, with a peak torque figure of 37Nm at 6,500rpm. Both achieve over 80mpg.

        Electronics

Both models use a package of carefully selected, ride-enhancing electronic aids; the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System.

Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (SDMS) means riders can choose from one of three power modes. Each mode reaches the same peak power output, with A the most direct, delivering the full amount of low-down torque available from the 398cc single-cylinder engine. Modes B and C are progressively softer, allowing riders to dial back the initial power delivery to suit in slippery or low grip conditions.

There are two standard traction control modes on both, with each also equipped with its own specific G (gravel) mode. G mode aims to maintain maximum off-road performance by allowing a certain amount of wheel spin. G modes level intervention is set slower than for the traction control systems other two standard modes, and the maximum level of intervention is also set lower, too. This provides the right balance between preventing excessive wheel spin on slippery surfaces and minimising power loss on surfaces with traction, making the bike easier to control.

On the DR-4S it focuses on enabling riders to enjoy off-road riding with confidence. It does so by adopting an updated version of the system when compared with the application on the V-Strom 1050DE and V-Strom 800DE, by being effective not only on flat surfaces but also on undulating terrain and inclines. On DR-Z4SM it is tailored more towards flat-dirt surfaces, while allowing a little more slip tolerance than on the V-Strom DEs. Allowing more spin lets the rider better tap into the models supermoto character.

Further enabling greater control off-road is an ABS system that riders can tailor to their needs and riding conditions. On the DR-Z4S riders can disengage the ABS at the rear, or at the front and rear. On the DR-Z4SM, riders can disengage the rear ABS.

Theres also Suzukis easy-start system, which means the engine fires up with one press of the starter button, and theres no need to pull the clutch lever when starting in neutral.

All rider information is displayed via a compact LCD dash.

        Chassis

A brand new, twin-spar steel frame was developed for the new DR-Z4S and DR-Z4SM. It is mated to a new aluminium subframe and an aluminium swingarm. Like the engine, it was designed to build on the previous models reputation for precise, agile handling and easy manoeuvrability. The new chassis is rigid, yet supple, meaning it can absorb impact and bumps on rougher terrain, and reduce rider fatigue.

Long-travel suspension on both the DR-Z4S and DR-Z4SM comes from KYB, specifically tuned for each models intended application. There is 280mm of front fork travel and 296mm of rear wheel travel on the DR-Z4S, while the DR-Z4SM has 260mm of front suspension travel and 277mm of rear wheel travel. Both have compression and rebound damping adjustment at the front and rear. Theres also preload adjustment on the rear shock.

Wheels are wire-spoked on both. The DR-Z4S is fitted with a 21 front and 18 rear, compared to the 17 rims in the DR-Z4SM. IRC GP-410, dual purpose, tubed tyres are standard on the S, while the SM is shod with Dunlop SPORTMAX Q5A tyres.

There are disc brakes all round, and the tapered aluminium handlebars are equipped with half-waffle grips which distribute pressure across the palms and make the grips easier to hold, aiding control and greatly reducing rider fatigue. Foot pegs are wide and solid, providing sure-footing and a robustness to withstand impacts off-road. Theres also an aluminium under guard as standard.

Ground clearance comes in at a useful 300mm on the DR-Z4S, and 260mm on the DR-Z4SM. Seat heights are 920mm and 890mm and they weigh 151kg and 154kg, respectively.

        Styling

Taking design cues from Suzukis RM-Z range, the new DR-Z4S and DR-Z4SM are designed to emphasise agile performance with a linear connection from front to rear. The focus was on establishing a bold horizontal line along the sides that cuts right from the front fender through to the tail.

Ergonomics also played a key role in the new design, and the DR-Z4S and DR-Z4SM are crafted as to not interfere in any way with the rider and their movement.

Lighting all-round is LED, from the single assembly headlight, rear combination lights, and indicators.

The DR-Z4S is available in Suzukis signature off-road Champion Yellow, and Solid Iron Grey, both with black rims. The DR-Z4SM comes in a new blue/grey colour scheme, dubbed Sky Grey, plus a Solid Special White, equipped with blue rims.

The DR-Z decals on each side of the cowling, in front of the engine, are modern and simple. Following the horizontal line along the cowling, these decals feature a colourful gradation below the lettering that reflects the modern image of the DR-Z.

A range of accessories is also available, which includes items such as hand guards, a lower seat, and a rear carrier rack.

Pricing and availability

Pricing for the new DR-Z4S and DR-Z4SM will be confirmed in the New Year, with arrival set for summer, 2025.

    <title>New season Z900 delivers a feast for the senses</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/new-season-z900-delivers-a-feast-for-the-senses</link>
    <description>
        Inheriting the exciting and rider-friendly concept of its predecessors, the new Z900 benefits from chassis and engine updates that contribute to even greater street-riding fun. An enhanced electronic rider support package includes IMU feedback and Kawasakis latest dual-direction KQS (operating from as low as 1500rpm), plus when its time to get from point A to point B, ride-enhancing features like electronic cruise control and Kawasaki&#039;s first turn-by-turn navigation system help ensure a smooth and enjoyable journey.

Kawasaki could be forgiven for resting on their laurels in respect of the Z900, but in fact the energy expended by the Akashi factory for 2025 is considerable. A ramped up sugomi * design catches the eye with sharp, edgy styling that makes effective use of metal parts as it hints at the sharp sugomi performance within.

In terms of motive power, the powerful 948 cm3 liquid-cooled, 4-stroke In-line Four engine has a quick-revving character and a stronger mid-range hit allied to precise control from the new electronic throttle valves while Kawasakis highly sophisticated electronic management systems feature an IMU to oversee a variety of functions. And to slow the go show, the new front brakes now feature new radial-mount 4-piston calipers offering a linear brake touch through the new Dunlop Sportmax Q5A tyres.

A major part of a sharper-looking innovative front end is the new precise and compact headlights, plus an advanced LED taillight. New brushed aluminium side shrouds and other accents give the Z900 a high-quality, metallic look while the new, more comfortable seat is flatter to allow the rider to shift around easily and maintain attention on the large 5 all-digital TFT colour instrumentation plus the convenience of electronic cruise control as standard.

In a Kawasaki first, turn-by-turn navigation can be displayed on the instrument panel, allowing the rider to see where the next turn should be made, while compatibility with Rideology The App Motorcycle allows the rider to control various functions by voice command**.

That is not all though. In fact, the list of new features on the 2025 stretches into the distance and includes updated camshaft profiles contributing to improved fuel economy plus increased torque at lower rpm and new ECU settings aiding a 16% potential increase in fuel economy plus reduced CO2 emissions over the previous model. Kawasakis KTRC traction control also features as well as selectable power modes and integrated riding modes.

For the rider, the front seat shape has been updated with thicker urethane and two seat heights are possible*** via the ERGO-FIT High seat at 830mm and an alternative ERGO-FIT Low seat at 810 mm. And forward of the seated rider, the aluminium fat-type handlebar offer an improved rigidity and imbues a sense of pride and purpose.

Sugomi is not just about the face of the new Z900. The advanced LED taillight features a light guiding design creating a cutting-edge, 3D appearance while practically, a cockpit area USB Type-C outlet (standard equipment on the SE model) offers a discreet and convenient charging point.

In addition to the standard Z900, the Special Edition model features higher-grade suspension (including an hlins rear shock), Brembo front brake components, and special colour and graphics while the European market will also feature 70 kW and 35 kW models offering A2 European licence compliant access to Z Supernaked excitement for a wider range of riders.

Z fans across Europe have been hungry for a new iteration so let the feast begin!

Z900 colours:
Metallic Moondust Grey / Metallic Spark Black / Candy Lime Green
Metallic Spark Black / Metallic Carbon Grey / Ebony
Metallic Carbon Grey / Metallic Phantom Silver / Candy Persimmon Red

Z900SE Colour:
Metallic Matt Graphite Grey / Ebony / Metallic Graphite Grey
(SE model is not available in a 70Kw version)

*Sugomi describes core performance and styling elements found in Kawasakis Z Supernaked models.
**Voice command and navigation functions will be available only to users who have a licence. Support for these functions varies depending on the country
***The standard seat height in Europe is 830mm

    <title>2025 Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX: Trans-Europe Express</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/2025-kawasaki-ninja-1100sxtrans-europe-express</link>
    <description>
        Hot in the tyre tracks of the recently announced Versys 1100, Kawasaki have unveiled the new 2025 Ninja 1100SX, a true continental express as ready to tackle border crossings as it is to navigate crowded city streets.

Most obvious news for 2025 is an increase in capacity for the ever popular litre class Ninja SX raising the capacity from 1043cc to 1099cc. But there is much more to the Ninja 1100SX than that with a host of updates and refinements to maintain its place at the forefront of the supersport touring pack.

Offering increased torque across the rev range, the need to change gear lessens even more so when ratio changes mean new longer 5th and 6th gears. Like its SX forebears, the latest iteration perfectly blends its touring and sporting abilities and this is manifested in the quick-shifter that now operates as low as 1500rpm allowing seamless changes at lower engine revolutions than before.

Rider and passenger convenience is an SX watchword so it is no surprise to see a handlebar mounted USB-C port as standard along with electronic cruise control, power modes, cornering management, K-TRC traction control and intelligent anti-lock brakes. Add an upscaled rear disc for even better stopping power and the good news is that in the face of more capacity and torque, the 2025 Ninja 1100SX offers even greater fuel efficiency. Even the tyres have been taken to a new level with the adoption of the latest Bridgestone Battlax S23 as a standard fitment.

The breaking news is that the Ninja 1100SX now comes with a sibling in the guise of an SE variant for the very first time. Boasting Brembo M4.32 front brake calipers, master cylinder and disc rotors plus steel mesh brake hoses, the SE also enjoys an hlins S46 rear shock absorber with remote pre-load adjustment. As a final touch, the SE model comes with heated grips as standard.

What both machines share is the ability to be connected to an updated version of Kawasakis unique Rideology app that allows riders to adjust aspects of their motorcycle, gather machine information via their Smartphone and also see ridden routes on their phone screen plus for 2025 Rideology is now voice command application ready anticipating the next generation of motorcycle and rider interactivity.

Sports or touring duties, the new Ninja 1100SX is ready to deliver from its height adjustable screen to a range of colour-coded luggage options plus a number of Edition models that can be ordered direct. Along with an expanding range of accessories, the Ninja 1100SX marks a significant stage in the evolution of the Kawasaki sport touring concept.

The Ninja 1100SX will be arriving in dealers from December with colours and pricing below.

    <title>Kawasaki accelerates the Z500 and Ninja 500 into 2025</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/kawasaki-accelerates-the-z500-and-ninja-500-into-2025</link>
    <description>
        Popular from the get-go, Kawasakis Ninja 500 and Z500 hit the ground running and have not looked back since their introduction. Boasting a completely new engine platform and styling focused on the iconic Ninja and Z families respectively, the two A2 compliant middleweights have been among the most popular models at Kawasaki dealerships over the past year.

The engine in the new Ninja 500 and Z500 is up the task, no matter what it may be. Ample power from the 451 cm3 power unit is available through the entire rpm range to make it easy for riders to use, no matter what kind of riding they are doing, from low-end urge for accelerating off the line in the city to top-end revs for riding on the highway.
Kawasakis Assist &amp; Slipper Clutch on both machines results in a light clutch pull for even more rider-friendly and manageable riding in everyday situations plus predictable handling is delivered thanks to a chassis conceived with light weight, manoeuvrability, and mass centralisation in mind provides excellent feel and inspiring confidence for a wide range of riders.

The Ninja 500 and Z500 feature a trellis frame similar in design to that of the Ninja H2. Kawasakis advanced dynamic rigidity analysis was used to ensure optimum rigidity with light weight. The engine is rigid-mounted and used as a stressed member. And while seat height is 785 mm, the slim design of both the seat and the rear of the engine gives riders an unobstructed line for their feet to reach the ground.

No matter from what angle the Z500 is seen, its triple headlight-centred front face and aggressive lines make it clear that this is a member of the Z family, with aggressive Supernaked looks and ample street presence. The Ninja alternative offers a distinctive front face and sleek, flowing lines make it clear that this is a member of the Ninja family, with race-inspired, big-bike looks. The shape of the full-fairing bodywork fosters a sense of unity with the rider, helping them feel at one with the bike.

Both machines boast a full LCD instrument panel on the standard models and the TFT display on the SE models offer smartphone connectivity, enabling riders to connect with their machines to enjoy display notifications, riding logs, and community features. SE models also feature original colour and graphics along with other exclusive features and accessories.

And for 2025 a new colour option is offered for the Ninja 500 mirroring the accents seen on the KRT Ninja ZX-10RR in many superbike races with the lime green base colour augmented by black, and white graphics with yellow striped highlights. Whatever the colour and whether Ninja 500 or Z500 in standard or SE spec, the choice in 2025 is going to be the right one!

    <title>Kawasaki powers into 2025 with a new Versys 1100</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/kawasaki-powers-into-2025-with-a-new-versys-1100</link>
    <description>
        From its introduction in 2012, the litre class Versys has evolved year on year gaining widespread praise for its any-roads versatility, day long riding comfort and rider friendly attitude a true motorcyclists machine befitting its Destination Everywhere tagline.

For 2025 that carefully considered evolution takes its next step and chief among the under the surface changes are an increase in cylinder capacity and also an increase in peak power. Developed by Kawasaki specifically for any roads excitement from perfectly surfaced highways to poorly maintained country roads, the Versys In-Line Four engine receives an increase in displacement from 1,043 cm3 to 1,099 cm3 for the 2025 season thanks to a 3mm longer stroke. This capacity increase, along with other subtle adjustments, increases maximum power from 120 PS to 135 PS.

Additionally, increased mid-high rpm torque makes an already great riding experience even more enjoyable. The new models (Standard, S and SE plus Edition machines and luggage options) also receive several upgrades aimed at improving touring potential.

The updated Kawasaki Quick Shifter (KQS) feature now functions from a lower minimum shift point of 1500rpm, while new upper gear ratios enhance touring comfort partnered with electronic cruise control. In terms of engine changes, selected headlines include centre intake funnels now 45 mm longer than the outer intake funnels adding to better torque between 4,000 and 7,000 rpm.

The intake ports were optimised to suit a throttle body change and are now narrower in relation to the bikes increased displacement. The resulting higher intake flow velocity in the low- to mid-rpm range benefits low-mid range torque. Additionally, new ECU settings optimised for the higher engine displacement have the throttle valve opening characteristics revised across the rev range while cam profiles with a lower valve lift also contribute to increased low-mid rpm range torque.

Increased rideability is also thanks to a heavier flywheel mass and a secondary balancer reduces excess vibration while large connector pipes join exhaust headers 1-4 and 2-3, contributing to better performance at all rpms. And to keep things under control, an oil cooler has been added in 2025 for improved cooling performance. Braking is revised too with the rear disc increasing from 250 mm &gt; 260 mm.

A USB-C port is standard and in terms of electronic rider aids, the Versys 1100 owner will be well served with a raft of items including KTRC traction control, cornering management, power mode and riding mode selections and for SE owners Showa electronically damped suspension. Boasting the convenience of Kawasakis unique Rideology smartphone App (which is now voice command function ready), you have the ideal planet exploring platform. Versys 1100 Destination: Everywhere.

The 2025 Versys will be available from December 2024 in the following colours:
Versys 1100 - 11,899
Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Gray / Metallic Diablo Black

Versys 1100 S - 13,649

    <title>MCN Crowns Suzuki GSX-8R Sportsbike of the year</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/mcn-crowns-suzuki-gsx-8r-sportsbike-of-the-year</link>
    <description>
        Motorcycle News has crowned the Suzuki GSX-8R as its Sportsbike of the Year. The 8R collects the award a year after its naked stablemate, the GSX-8S, won the award for Best Naked.

The award makes it two awards in two years for Suzukis 776cc parallel twin engine platform, which has won favour with press and customers alike thanks to its punchy power delivery and flexibility.

The GSX-8R was heralded as a sublime bit of kit by the world famous motorcycling newspaper, and praised for being cracking fun to ride and for being living proof that sportsbikes can be fun, comfortable and capable, without breaking the bank, as it blends sportiness with everyday usability.

Jak Tyrrell, Suzuki GBs senior motorcycle marketing manager, said after collecting the award, Its obviously really pleasing to see the 8R recognised as the great bike it is, but, for us, its also great to see that our latest engine platform is clearly a leading light in the middleweight category, with two MCN awards in two years. The GSX-8R really captured imaginations when it was revealed, and has clearly delivered on its promise to be a sportsbike accessible for all riders.

The GSX-8R houses its 776cc engine inside a brand new chassis, with suspension from Showa, including the firms SFF-BP (Separate Function Fork Big Piston) at the front. Radially-mounted Nissin four-piston calipers provide the stopping power.

An electronics package features a bi-directional quickshifter as standard, three power modes, and three traction control settings, with all information displayed via a colour TFT screen.

    <title>Two Models And Three Colour Options For 2025 Eliminator</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/two-models-and-three-colour-options-for-2025-eliminator</link>
    <description>
        A relatively recent and welcome addition to the Kawasaki range, the Eliminator 500 will continue to be available in two model specifications in 2025 with potential owners being able to select from three new colour ways.

Based around the concept of Just Ride, and equipped with Kawasakis new parallel-twin, four-stroke mid-capacity engine, the Eliminator 500 displays long, low drag strip and urban street styling within an easy to ride A2 licence friendly package.

With huge interest in the mid-capacity or so-called entry level segment, competition is fierce, so Kawasaki is offering three all new colours for 2025 to underpin the impact and appeal of the Eliminator.

For the standard model two colourways will be on offer for the coming season, Metallic Flat Spark Black or Pearl Robotic White, while the range-leading SE model will be offered in Metallic Carbon Gray/Flat Ebony.

For 2025 Eliminator 500 owners the narrative is simple, just pick a colour and then Just Ride.

The bike will arrive in dealers in October 2024, with prices TBC.

    <title>New 2025 colours for Versys and Vulcan twins</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/new-2025-colours-for-versys-and-vulcan-twins</link>
    <description>
        The popular Versys 650 adventure tourer and much-loved Vulcan S are both set for a colour refresh for the 2025 sales season.

Known since its debut as an adaptable any-roads machine, the agile Versys 650 will again be offered by Kawasaki dealers for the coming season in a number of options from Standard all the way to Grand Tourer complete with a suite of luggage making this a bike of choice in the mid-weight adventure touring segment. Continuing to be offered in black, the two new 2025 colours will be Pearl Robotic White/Metallic Spark Black and Metallic Graphenesteel Gray/Metallic Spark Black.

Sharing the same highly praised 649cm3 water-cooled, parallel-twin powerplant as its touring sibling yet retuned and refocused for the needs of a cruiser rider the Vulcan S has single-mindedly carved itself a niche in the mid-weight custom class with its blend of sinuous styling and clever, practical features. Adjustable footpegs and Kawasakis Ergo-Fit seating and control options allow riders to fine tune the Vulcan S according to their height and preference, while the tubular style chassis features a laydown single-shock rear suspension equipped with a linkage to enable a longer stroke for increased ride comfort.

Carrying the current highly demanded Metallic Flat Spark Black colourway into 2025, the new colour option for Vulcan S will be a subtle take on the same theme encompassing Metallic Flat Spark Black/Metallic Flat Raw Graystone.

Adventure tour or custom cruising, both the Versys 650 and Vulcan S will be ready to meet the needs of enthusiasts once more in 2025 and ready to fuel their riding passion.

The Versys 650 will be available from January 2025 and the Vulcan S from October 2024, with prices TBC nearer the time

    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/all-change-for-many-2025-z-series-colourways</link>
    <description>
        Bikes from Kawasakis perennially popular Z series will be represented in 2025 with just a select few colours carried forward from 2024 and the majority of others being brand new.

Remaining in this years hue, the powerful, supercharged Hypernaked Z H2 SE continues to be available in Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray/Mirror Coated Black while the standard model will arrive as an Emerald Blazed Green/Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray/Metallic Diablo Black machine.

In terms of the Z650, two new colour options are being released in the guise of Metallic Spark Black/Red and Metallic Spark Black/Green.

The globally successful RS range flexes its muscles once more in 2025 with three new options for the Z650RS and the same number of possibilities within the Z900RS offering.

Making a bold statement on city streets next year, the Z650RS is being offered as either Ebony, Ebony/Green or Ebony/Yellow for 2025; but that hardly tells the full story with the Ebony/Green version evoking memories of the famous Z1 graphic scheme and the Ebony/Yellow iteration conjuring up images of the later, legendary Z1B.

Looking longingly at the past - while being firmly of its time - the Z900RS will appear in Metallic Diablo Black plus an Ino Red offering - again conjuring up fond memories of past famous Z models - while the ever popular SE model will appear in a Metallic Flat Spark Black/Metallic Matte Carbon Gray livery.

For 2025, colours change and evolve while the core spirit of Z continues to delight and inspire and will be availablefrom the below dates, with prices TBC nearer the time.

    <title>Suzuki GB confirms recall campaign for rear tyre defect on V-Strom 800DE</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/suzuki-gb-confirms-recall-campaign-for-rear-tyre-defect-on-v-strom-800de</link>
    <description>
        Suzuki GB has confirmed a recall campaign on its V-Strom 800DE, due to a defect with the OE fitment rear tyre. There are 304 affected machines registered in the UK.

Customer safety and satisfaction is Suzuki GBs utmost priority, and owners of affected units will be contacted from today [Friday 26 July] and directed to cease riding activity until replacement tyres have been fitted by an authorised Suzuki dealership.

Owners of affected models still equipped with the OE tyres will be able to have their motorcycle collected by their local Suzuki dealership, which will then fit a pair of replacement tyres and return the motorcycle to the customer, allowing them to continue using their machine.

In instances where owners have already replaced their OE tyres they will be advised to contact Suzuki GB customer services. Suzuki GB will reimburse them for their outlay on tyres and fitting.

Due to the defective rear tyre Suzuki GB is temporarily unable to register any new V-Strom 800DE models. To maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and to reduce the impact on customers, those that have already placed an order for a new machine will be offered a courtesy bike in the interim period, until the recall work has been completed.

In all instances, all appropriate costs will be borne by Suzuki GB.

The V-Strom 1050DE is unaffected.

    <title>World’s First Public Demonstration of Hydrogen Engine Motorcycle</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/worlds-first-public-demonstration-of-hydrogen-engine-motorcycle</link>
    <description>
        On July 20, Kawasaki Motors, a member of the Kawasaki Heavy Industries Group, conducted the world&#039;s first public demonstration run of a hydrogen ICE (internal combustion engine) motorcycle by a mass-production motorcycle manufacturer at Suzuka Circuit in Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture, Japan.
The hydrogen ICE motorcycle was designed and built as part of research that began in March 2023, with test runs starting this year, culminating in the public demonstration run. Mounted in the machine is a hydrogen engine based on the 998 cm3 In-Line Four Supercharged Engine found in Kawasakis Ninja H2 motorcycle, with modifications made to allow direct injection of hydrogen fuel into the cylinders. The motorcycles chassis was designed to accommodate hydrogen fuel canisters and a hydrogen fuel supply system on-board.

Hydrogen ICE motorcycles run on hydrogen combustion, producing the rumble and pulsating sensation that riders enjoy when twisting the throttle, while emitting mainly water*1.
As part of their carbon neutral initiative, Kawasaki Motors is currently conducting research and development with the aim of realizing a functioning hydrogen ICE motorcycle*2 as one carbon-neutral option for riders in the early 2030s.

Kawasaki Motors is a full member of HySE (Hydrogen Small mobility &amp; Engine technology)*3, a research association focused on hydrogen technology that is actively conducting basic research on hydrogen engines, hydrogen filling systems, and fuel supply systems in order to produce hydrogen-powered small mobility vehicles, including motorcycles.

In order to further strengthen the Kawasaki brand, Kawasaki Motors will provide products and services that meet the needs of our customers and society, including efforts toward achieving carbon neutrality, as we challenge ourselves to examine all possibilities in pursuit of the happiness and joy of all those whose lives Kawasaki touches.

Suzuki GB marketing manager Jak Tyrrell commented, Were a little over a month away from Suzuki Live and its set to be the biggest one yet. While there will be plenty of track sessions for those taking part, theres going to be even more to see and do away from the circuit action, starting with the two anniversary display areas.

25 years is a huge milestone for two motorcycling stalwarts: the SV has provided fun, affordable motorcycling for the masses since 1999, has been the first big bike of so many riders, and still fills racing grids at club level. And, still, a quarter of a century later, nothing comes close to a Hayabusa. Its very easy to overuse words like icon or legend, but that is what the Hayabusa is.

Suzuki Live takes place on 22-23 June at Cadwell Park. Weekend tickets cost 15 and include access to the whole paddock area, plus free camping.

    <title>Suzuki announces GSX-S1000GX+</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/suzuki-announces-gsx-s1000gx</link>
    <description>
        Suzuki has announced a GSX-S1000GX+, a pannier-equipped version of its new-for-2024 GSX-S1000GX which comes with an OTR price of 15,599, just 1,100 over the GSX-S1000GX.

For customers looking for the added carrying capacity the GX+ offers, it represents a saving of 175 over the individual cost of the panniers and fitting. Moreover, including the genuine accessory panniers as part of the standard specification and price means even better value for customers buying on finance, too.

Two colour-coded, 36-litre panniers provide plenty of storage space, with each pannier capable of accepting a full-face helmet.

The panniers represent additional practicality for a machine built with all-day distance and riding comfort in mind. Topping the spec sheet is semi-active suspension from Showa, which has an automatic rear preload setting or three selectable options for solo riding, a rider and pillion, or rider and luggage. Riders can also select from soft, medium, and hard damping settings.

Cruise control features alongside seven traction control settings, encompassed within which is a roll torque control that uses a six-axis IMU to govern available power output when the bike is at lean. The IMU from Bosch also enables cornering ABS. There are three selectable power modes, and a bi-directional quickshifter.

All the information for which is displayed on a 6.5 colour TFT screen, with smartphone connectivity via the free Suzuki mySPIN app.

152PS and 106Nm of torque are provided by Suzukis revered, superbike-derived, 999cc inline four-cylinder engine, which is housed in a twin-spar aluminium frame.

    <title>Kawasaki UK unveil three special colourways for the 2024 Ninja ZX-10RR</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/kawasaki-uk-unveil-three-special-colourways-for-the-2024-ninja-zx-10rr</link>
    <description>
        With 2024 marking the 40th anniversary of the Ninja brand, Kawasaki UK worked with Kar Lee Design to create a range of liveries for the ZX-10RR inspired by retro colourways from the last four decades. Kawasakis social media followers voted for their favourite, with UK specialist SprayBay then turning the three most popular ones into reality before their appearance on the Kawasaki UK Motorcycle Live stand.

There are just 40 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RRs available, each with anniversary plates set into the top yokes bearing the special moniker of 1 of only 40 and the anniversary logo. Customers will be able to choose their favourite from the three designs.

In addition to the unique colourways, each bike will be a Performance Edition, featuring an Akrapovi muffler, pillion seat cover, smoked windshield and tank pad. Customers will also receive a paddock stand, a special bike cover, and a Ninja 40th anniversary keyring.

The anniversary ZX-10RR will cost 26,599 and is available to order from dealers now.

Craig Watson, Sales and Marketing Manager at Kawasaki Motors UK
The retro theme has become very popular over the past couple of years, and we thought it would be great to further celebrate 40 years of Ninja with these special liveries commemorating the designs of historic Ninjas from the 90s. We are sure they are going to be very popular, so its key that you speak to your local Kawasaki dealer as soon as possible!

    <title>New Suzuki GSX-8R pricing announced</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/new-suzuki-gsx-8r-pricing-announced</link>
    <description>
        Fresh from its reveal at Eicma in Milan, Italy, earlier this month, Suzuki has announced UK pricing of the new GSX-8R: the new middleweight sportsbike will come with an OTR price of 8,899 when it arrives in dealerships in February.

The GSX-8R uses Suzukis new 776cc parallel twin engine, with its 270 crankshaft providing a V-twin-esque feel and soundtrack. Thanks to its long stroke design it produces an abundance of torque throughout the rev range, peaking at 78 Nm at 6800rpm. Peak power is 82.9PS at 8,500rpm.

While the main chassis is shared with the GSX-8S, suspension comes from Showa, and there are lower handlebars to provide a sportier riding position, with riders tucked behind the new, GSX-R-inspired full fairing.

As standard there is a bi-directional quickshifter, three power modes and three selectable traction control modes, with all information displayed via a 5 colour TFT screen.

    <title>New Suzuki GSX-S1000GX and GSX-8R revealed at EICMA</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/new-suzuki-gsx-s1000gx-and-gsx-8r-revealed-at-eicma</link>
    <description>
        Suzuki has pulled the covers off two more new models for 2024, with the reveal of a new GSX-S1000GX crossover and GSX-8R middleweight sportsbike today at Eicma, in Milan, Italy.

With the GSX-S1000GX Suzuki steps into a new segment for the first time, offering a new sports crossover machine with a comprehensive suite of electronics.

Electronic suspension from Showa tops a spec sheet that also includes IMU-governed ABS and other braking systems, anti-wheelie, a new Roll Torque Control system, traction control, cruise control, selectable power modes, a bi-directional quickshifter and smartphone connectivity, accessed via a 6.5 colour TFT screen.

A 999cc inline four-cylinder delivers an abundance of power and torque throughout the rev range, peaking at 152PS and 106 Nm.

With an OTR price of 14,499, first customers can have their bikes by Christmas.

        Also revealed, the new GSX-8R is the fourth new model to be launched on Suzukis new 776cc parallel twin platform, which features a DOHC and 270 crankshaft design and delivers punchy drive throughout the rev range.

New Showa suspension provides more support and increased damping force over the GSX-8S to account for the increased from weight bias and delivers a controlled, sporty ride.

Lower handlebars also contribute to a sportier riding position, with more of the riders weight over the front end.

The package is wrapped in new, angular, GSX-R-inspired bodywork.

There are selectable power modes, traction control, and a bi-directional quickshifter as standard, with all information displayed on a 5 colour TFT dash.

        GSX-S1000GX

With a design and product concept of the ultimate sports crossover, the GSX-S1000GX is set to become the benchmark in the category, as Suzuki moves into the crossover sector of the market for the first time.

It boasts Suzukis most sophisticated electronics package to date, with a number of new and innovative systems enabled by a six-axis Bosch IMU and electronic suspension from Showa.

The GSX-S1000GX is the first Suzuki to adopt Suzuki Advanced Electronic Suspension (SAES). The GX gets 150mm front and rear suspension travel to create an upright riding position, broadening the riders field of view and providing all-day riding comfort. The longer suspension travel also helps the GX smooth out bumps when riding over uneven surfaces.

There are four selectable modes of SAES: hard, medium, soft, and a customisable user setting which offers +/- three increments on the selected base setting of hard, medium, or soft.

Further helping smooth out those bumps and undulations is Suzuki Road Adaptive Stabilisation (SRAS). An original Suzuki system, in use for the first time on the new GX, it detects uneven road surfaces based on input from the IMU and wheel speed sensors, and, if required, triggers the Suzuki Floating Ride Control (SFRC) to help smooth out the ride. As part of the SFRC it also adjusts the electronic throttle valve settings to deliver softer, more controllable throttle response.

The rear suspensions spring preload settings are also electronically controlled, making it easy for a rider to use a handlebar switch to quickly choose between auto or one of the four available modes they find best suited to their immediate needs or preferences.

Riders can select between single rider, single rider plus luggage, or tandem (with or without luggage). In addition, the preload setting for auto mode can be adjusted by +/- three increments and the three manual modes can be adjusted by +/- four increments to match the riders needs more finely.

The GSX-S1000GX also uses an alpha version of the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector. SDMS- provides three riding modes: active, basic, comfort. Those three integrated riding modes control power output characteristics, as well as the level of traction control, which, on the GX, is integrated with Lift Limiter (anti-wheelie) and Roll Torque Control, and electronic suspension settings. Riders can opt to use the default settings of many of those systems or customise them to match their needs or preferences more closely. There are seven selectable modes of traction control integrated with Roll Torque Control and Lift Limiter and three selectable throttle maps.

Making its debut on the GX is Suzukis new Roll Torque Control. Based on data received from the IMU and wheel speed sensors, this new system calculates the bikes lean angle and speed to predetermine what level of power output and acceleration is optimal at that time, for example, when exciting a corner. It then reduces torque output before the motorcycle exceeds the amount of power the system deems necessary to clear the corner effectively. One key benefit of this system is a smooth operation and uninterrupted drive. With regular traction control the system is reactive, cutting in when rear wheel slip is detected. This can create a jerkiness or on and off feeling as the power comes in and out. It can also cause the rear suspension to compress and rebound. This is reduced significantly with the introduction of Roll Torque Control, as the torque ceiling is set, and then raised as the bike exits the corner and as speed increases and lean angle decreases. It is an extra layer of pre-emptive protection that operates silently in the background, with its settings determined by the level of traction control selected.

Completing the GXs comprehensive suite of electronics is a ride-by-wire throttle, bi-directional quickshifter, cruise control updated on the GX to allow the system to continue operating when the rider changes gear lean angle-sensitive ABS, Slope Dependent Control, which prevents rear wheel lift when braking downhill, easy start, and low RPM assist.

Monitoring all of the GSX-S1000GXs electronic systems is done via a 6.5-inch colour TFT screen, which also offers smartphone connectivity, allowing riders to access maps, view contacts and make and receive phone calls, see their calendar, and play music. All this is done via the free Suzuki mySPIN app. A USB socket in the side of the instrument cluster makes for easy phone charging.

Powering the new GSX-S1000GX is Suzukis creamy smooth, 999cc, inline four-cylinder, superbike-derived engine. Known for its abundance of lowdown and midrange power, it produces 152PS at 11,000rpm and 106 Nm of torque at 9,250rpm.

That engine is housed in a twin spar, aluminium frame mated to a race-proven aluminium swingarm from the GSX-R range and a lightweight subframe.

All of that is wrapped in new, aggressive bodywork, with full LED lighting front and rear. Hand guards and a spacious luggage rack add extra practicality. Luggage capacity can be increased with genuine accessory 36-litre panniers.

With an OTR price of 14,499, the GSX-S1000GX is available to order now, with first customers able to take delivery in time for Christmas. It will come in Suzukis trademark Metallic Triton Blue, Glass Sparkle Black and a new Pearl Matt Shadow Green

        GSX-8R

Immediately highlighting the R element of the new GSX-8R is its full fairing, wind tunnel-tested to increase aerodynamic performance and provide weather protection for the rider. Bold 8R logos adorn the side panels, while fairing-mounted mirrors also aid in reducing drag.

Perched in the middle of the angular face is the recognisably GSX series stacked LED headlight, topped by an LED position light. The rear combination light is also full LED, as are the indicators.

At the heart of the new GSX-8R is the 776cc parallel twin engine which it shares with the GSX-8S with its long stroke and 270 crankshaft design providing an abundance of low-down torque, usability, and flexibility, while a free-revving nature comes from a DOHC and four valves per cylinder. Peak torque is 78 Nm, delivered at 6800rpm, with peak power of 82.9PS coming at 8500rpm.

The 270 crankshaft also provides a power delivery, character, and rumble reminiscent of Suzukis much-lauded V-twin ranges, while a patented cross balancer design ensures a smoothness, as well as aiding in a compact, lightweight engine design.

A two-into-one exhaust system with dual-stage catalytic converter keeps the 8R conforming to Euro 5 emissions standards, and ends in a short, underslung silencer further enhancing the compact, slimline look.

All of that is housed in a steel frame engineered for direct handling characteristics. Those handling characteristics are further enhanced by low, forged aluminium handlebars that provide positive control and a sporty riding position, placing more of the riders weight over the front wheel. Bolted into the rear of the steel frame is a lightweight aluminium subframe and lightweight aluminium swingarm,

Dealing with the increased weight bias towards the front, Showa provides the suspension, with SFF-BP* (Separate Function Fork Big Piston) inverted forks and monoshock in the rear. Mounted radially to the forks are Nissin four-piston calipers, providing stopping power by biting 310mm discs. Tyres are Dunlop Roadsport 2s.

Aiding rideability, usability, and flexibility is a suite of electronic systems that includes a bi-directional quickshifter as standard, three selectable engine power modes, and three selectable traction control settings, plus the ability to disengage the system entirely. Theres also Suzukis low RPM assist and easy-start function.

The GSX-8Rs settings are easy to navigate via a single rocker switch on the left-hand handlebar, with the information displayed clearly on a colour 5 TFT screen.

Three colour options will be available when the GSX-8R arrives in dealerships in early February 2024: Metallic Triton Blue, Metallic Matt Sword Silver and Metallic Matt Black No.2.

    <title>Kawasaki adds original Ninja colourways to 2024 model line</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/kawasaki-adds-original-ninja-colourways-to-2024-model-line</link>
    <description>
        Having already unveiled several 40th anniversary Ninja models for the 2024 range in the racetrack influenced ZXR livery of blue, white and green, Kawasaki has now gone full throttle with the announcement of two further celebration models but with a twist.

Reimagining the famous 1985 Ninja 900 colours for a todays riding generation, the new season line will now include 40th Anniversary Editions of the Ninja 1000SX and Ninja 650, resplendent in black, silver and red livery redolent of early USA market Ninja models retailed in Europe under the GPz brand name.

The unmistakable two-tone Firecracker Red and Ebony colours are inspired by the 1985 Kawasaki GPZ900R with the colour of the silver line separating the red and ebony panels carefully selected to match the brightness of the original.

Additionally, on top of the fuel tank, a 40th anniversary emblem sit proudly. Designed in a style similar to a championship sticker and reminiscent of the 1980s racing scene, the outline of the Ninja logo was reproduced using the original designs while the Liquid-Cooled logo used elsewhere symbolises the transition from air-cooled to liquid-cooled engines in the late 80s.
Attention to detail abounds with the eye-catching addition of silver-coloured wheel rim tape representing the texture of the machined wheels of the 1980s.

Predicted to be a highly popular and collectable iteration of the Ninja family, all 40th Edition models will be available in showrooms alongside a vibrant range of standard colourways for the 2024 season.

Making the future a feature of today, Kawasaki hopes that a new generation of riders will enjoy and celebrate four decades of Ninja in the nest way possible; on the open road at the controls of an iconic sports machine.

        Harnessing the same innovative, unique* and groundbreaking technology as its fully faired sibling, the 2024 Z7 Hybrid is a naked style bike or should that be bikes? as it is effectively three machines in one thanks to electric power allied to hybrid and internal combustion technologies.

With two power sources, a 43.5kw max power 451cc water-cooled four-stroke twin cylinder internal combustion engine and a 9kw maximum rated electric traction motor, the latest (and most technically advanced) Z is ready for what the city, the suburbs and countryside can challenge it with plus come back for more!

Calling out its strong hybrid** credentials, the Z7 Hybrid can operate in three ways. As a full EV with automatic transmission, the machine is suitable for zero emission zones and can operate for up to 12kms on electric only before the internal combustion engine seamlessly provides battery charge remember this is a true Hybrid so the machine recharges itself.

In Eco-Hybrid mode, the electric motor works in harmony with the internal combustion engine providing a best of both worlds solution offering the choice of either six speed automatic transmission or manual gear selection via up and down paddles on the left handlebar which, naturally, features no clutch lever. A walk mode is also a feature for ease of manoeuvring and parking plus selectable auto engine stop at standstill reflecting current automotive thinking.

Finally, sports mode unleashes the full performance potential of both the electric and gasoline motors with the addition of an E-Boost function (via a paddle switch on the right handlebar) that effectively harnesses all the potential power available in a short five second burst for litre class acceleration from a standing start or truly impressive thrust while riding. Matched to a potential for fuel economy in the 250cc class category, the Z7 Hybrid truly represents the best of both worlds and looks set to change the game.

Relying on the same trellis type chassis layout and running gear as the Ninja 7 Hybrid, the Sugomi styled Z7 Hybrid opens up a new world in the naked class sector while doubling the Strong Hybrid offer from Kawasaki in the market from one to two machines. Expected to be on sale during the Spring of 2024, the Z 7 Hybrid moves Kawasaki firmly to centre stage in the constantly evolving universe of powered-two-wheeler technology.

Colours Z 7 Hybrid:
Metallic Bright Silver/Metallic Matte Lime Green/Ebony (SL1) = COMMUNICATION COLOUR
Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray/Ebony/Metallic Graphite Gray (GY1)-

*1 Mass production models (excluding scooters) from a major power sports manufacturer as of October 6, 2023, per Kawasaki Motors, Ltd. research. **2 Strong hybrid systems combine an internal combustion engine (ICE) with an electric motor for powerful riding, and because of their large battery capacity they are able to run on electricity alone.

    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/get-the-right-winter-blues-with-2-9offer-from-suzuki</link>
    <description>
        It might be getting colder but Suzuki is making it easier to get the right sort of winter blues by offering 2.9% APR finance on a number of models. Available over four years on both PCP and HP, the offer includes the Hayabusa including the new 25th anniversary edition both the V-Strom 1050 and V-Strom 1050DE, the GSX-S1000, and both the GSX-S1000GT and GT+.

Theres also 500 off the GSX-R125 and GSX-S125, plus 750 worth of free accessories available on the V-Strom 1050 and V-Strom 1050DE. All three offers run until 31 January 2024.

As a part of the 2.9% finance deal, the flagship, 25th anniversary special edition Hayabusa complete with its legendary 1340cc inline four-cylinder engine, sophisticated electronics package that includes power modes, cornering ABS, traction control, anti-wheelie, a bi-directional quickshifter, multiple engine braking settings, launch control, and cruise control, and striking bodywork can be ridden for 149 per month on a four-year PCP deal, with a 4,210.48 deposit.

Or, those looking to cover big miles on a big adventure bike can pick up the V-Strom 1050, with its similarly all encompassing suite of electronics, DR Big-inspired style, and punchy 1037cc V-twin motor, for 109 per month over the same period with a 2,711.30 deposit, while also equipping it with their choice of complementary extras.

New riders or those looking for the perfect tool to tackle city congestion and keep running costs to a minimum can also enjoy 500 off the GSX-S125 and GSX-R125.

Jonathan Martin, Suzuki GB head of motorcycles, said, The clocks have gone back, the nights have drawn in, and the temperatures have dropped, but its still a good time for riders to put a new Suzuki in the garage for less this winter. We understand that monthly payments remain key for our customers and by offering an incredibly low 2.9% through the winter we believe more customers will take advantage now and not wait until spring to ride away on a new Suzuki.

    <title>Kawasaki unveil Ninja 40th Anniversary models for 2024 range</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/kawasaki-unveil-ninja-40th-anniversary-models-for-2024-range</link>
    <description>
        Over the last 40 years, Ninja motorcycles have captured the hearts of Sportsbike enthusiasts around the world. Never straying from what made Ninja famous from the start, the development of the iconic brand has always been at the forefront of technology, making Ninja not just a recognisable name but, for many riders, a way of life.

Now for the 2024 model year Kawasaki is releasing a family group of Ninja 40th Anniversary models as part of a celebration of four decades of performance and innovation. Set to be seen in the flesh for the first time at the prestigious EICMA show in Milan and now unveiled online, the trio of machines comprises the Ninja ZX-10R, base machine for multiple WorldSBK titles, the highly regarded mid-weight 636cc Supersport Ninja ZX-6R and the already highly praised and equally high revving Ninja ZX-4RR.

Each machine will be available in a version of the evocative early 1990s Kawasaki World Endurance livery of green, blue and white with the bold, unapologetic Kawasaki logo dominating the lower cowl; just like the three-time championship winning machines of the period. Adopted for the 1989 ZXR series of machines, the distinctive livery dials into the fashion for all things retro while also looking fresh and contemporary. Like the Ninja itself its a win/win combination.
Boasting a 40th Anniversary logo on their fuel tanks, each machine has had its livery carefully adjusted to suit the bodywork while the bold Kawasaki logo was taken from original drawings and even the displacement figures on the rear bodywork are evocative of the period. Adding lime green wheels and silver painted parts (including frame parts) illustrates the attention to detail lavished on these machines by stylists at the Kawasaki factory in Japan.

Available alongside the already announced colourways for the 2024 season, the 40th Anniversary models will play a significant role in a global digital celebration of a Sportsbike brand that is universally recognised and respected.

The bikes will begin to arrive in dealers from January 2024. The Ninja ZX-4RR will cost 8,899, the Ninja ZX-6R 10,849, and the Ninja ZX-10R 17,749.

    <title>Pricing and availability of 25th anniversary Hayabusa announced</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/pricing-and-availability-of-25th-anniversary-hayabusa-announced</link>
    <description>
        Suzuki has announced that the special edition Hayabusa, launched to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the legendary hyperbike, is available in dealerships now with an OTR price of 18,599, and will also be available on 2.9% APR finance on PCP or HP.

The anniversary edition, launched to celebrate a quarter of a century of an icon after the first generation Hayabusa changed the game in 1999, comes in a head-turning glass blaze orange and glass sparkle black, and with a list of standout features including: special anniversary logo on the fuel tank and laser-etched into the twin exhaust mufflers, gold-anodised brake disc carriers and drive chain adjusters, raised Suzuki lettering on the fuel tank, a standard-fit single seat cowl in addition to the pillion pad, and new gloss black trim.

Underneath, it packs the same torque-rich, 1340cc inline four-cylinder engine as the current third generation Hayabusa, which produces more cumulative power and torque than any of its predecessors. Thanks to a heavily redesigned engine for 2021 with new pistons, conrods, crankshaft and camshaft the latest iteration of the Hayabusa is the fastest-launching one yet.

Helping that cause is a comprehensive suite of electronics that features three launch control settings, 10 traction control modes, and three power modes, plus lean-angle sensitive ABS, three levels of engine brake settings, cruise control, hill hold, low RPM assist, and easy-start.

Launched in 1999 the original Hayabusa stunned the motorcycling world and gave birth to the hypersport category. Taking its name from the Japanese for Peregrine falcon famed for feasting on blackbirds it delivered unrivalled performance, was immediately recognisable thanks to its now-iconic silhouette, and went on to develop cult status.

The launch of the second generation Hayabusa in 2008 boosted capacity and power, while a mid-term update in 2013 added Brembo monobloc calipers and ABS. The third generation was launched in 2021, after 200,000 units had been sold worldwide.

Suzuki GB head of motorcycles, Jonathan Martin, said, There arent many if any motorcycles that can boast the same sort of history, legacy, and standing that the Hayabusa does. Its not hyperbole to call it an icon, or game-changing, or legendary; it is all of those things. It really is in a class of one, and moving into its 25th year, customers can own a piece of history with this special edition, and to make it even easier to do so were pleased to be able to launch it with a low finance rate of 2.9% on PCP or HP.

    <title>Kawasaki “Change the Game” with new strong hybrid Ninja 7 HEV</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/kawasaki-change-the-gamewith-new-strong-hybrid-ninja-7-hev</link>
    <description>
        Having only recently held the debut of its new A1 licence class EV motorcycles in Paris, Kawasaki is taking another giant step down the road towards its long-term goal of carbon neutrality with the introduction of the worlds first* mass produced Strong Hybrid*, the Ninja 7 Hybrid.Seeking to Change the Game, the all-new Ninja 7 Hybrid offers a unique window into a world of future motorcycles but in a contemporary time frame with the first models expected to be on showroom floors in January 2024.

        At the heart of the Ninja 7 Hybrid is the innovative combination of a brand new 451cc parallel twin, water-cooled four stroke engine complete with manual or automatically selected gears and a traction motor plus battery; a futuristic combination that offers a number of new riding experiences plus an engine power of 43.5 kw rising to an impressive hybrid net power of 51.1kw thanks to e-boost. In terms of torque, the figures are equally impressive, with a maximum system power with ICE and EV combined of 60.4 Nm {6.2 kgm} at just 2,800rpm.

In terms of dimensions, the Ninja 7 Hybrid weighs in at 227kg and is a mid-size package offering 650cc to 700cc class overall performance with the instant acceleration to rival that of a 1,000cc-class supersport model from a standing start (with Kawasakis e-boost function already seen on their EV machines) and fuel economy on par with the 250cc-class with a WMTC Class 3-2 certified rating of 4.0 L/100 km which becomes yet more economical in ECO-HYBROD mode. In addition, riders can switch between three riding modes (SPORT-HYBRID, ECO-HYBRID, EV**) that each offer a distinct riding character as they accommodate a wide range of riding situations.

Other innovations include idling stop function whereby the internal combustion engine stops at a halt to save fuel and reduce emissions plus Automatic Launch Position Finder (ALPF) which when selected automatically selects first gear at standstill plus a forward and reverse walk mode to aid low speed manoeuvring and parking. In addition, this innovative new model is able to harvest energy while riding thanks to the regenerative system meaning when the rider rolls off the throttle the energy of deceleration is recycled back to the battery. This contributes to a longer cruising range.

Utilising a specially designed version of Kawasakis familiar trellis type chassis, the packaging of the gasoline engine and 9kw max traction motor reveals a compact twinned power unit with the 48V lithium-ion battery near the centre point of the chassis to idealise weight distribution. The traction motor is equipped with an ISG inverter (which coverts AC to DC power and vice versa) and DCDC converter (converting the battery packs 48 V to the 12 V power required by the ECU and other systems), the pair are unitised, helping to conserve space.

And in terms of styling, the Ninja 7 Hybrid is resplendent in a unique HEV treatment combining a matt lime green under cowl with silver and black bodywork destined like its engineering innovations to set this bike apart from the common herd. Ergonomically, the relaxed and sporty riding position eases the rider towards the high-grade cockpit and carefully considered layout of the switchgear; both designed to be intuitive and to inspire confidence. For the meters, full-colour TFT instrumentation includes smartphone connectivity via a custom version of the Rideology The App, contributing to an enhanced motorcycling experience.

As the first of its kind, the Ninja 7 Hybrid sets the bar for HEV motorcycling. Offering the best elements of ICE and EV models, and able to navigate both the urban jungle and countryside backroads, this revolutionary new model is greater than the sum of its parts. With its exciting character and numerous innovative features for riders to explore, the Ninja 7 Hybrid truly ushers in a new era in riding experiences

    <title>New V-Strom 800RE joins V-Strom 800DE to enhance Suzuki’s adventure bike lineup</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/new-v-strom-800re-joins-v-strom-800de-to-enhance-suzukis-adventure-bike-lineup</link>
    <description>
        Following the launch of its all-new V-Strom 800DE earlier this year, Suzuki has announced a new V-Strom 800RE that will further expand its adventure bike stable, ensuring the V-Strom range is truly ready for any terrain, any horizon, any adventure.

Born to roam, the V-Strom 800RE will provide a more road-focussed offering than its more off-road-ready sibling. With DE denoting the V-Strom 800DEs positioning as a dual explorer, the adoption of RE for the latest V-Strom 800 model highlights its abilities as the road explorer.

Arriving in November, the new V-Strom 800RE will come with an OTR price of 9,699.

At its heart, the new V-Strom 800RE uses the same new 776cc parallel twin engine as its stablemate, with its double overhead cam and 270 crankshaft design delivering a broad spread of torque throughout the rev range peaking at 78Nm at 6800rpm and a rumble and character more akin to Suzukis famed V-twins. Peak power is 84.3PS at 8500rpm.

It also uses the same steel main frame, engineered for a balance of straight-line stability and agile handling. The narrow steel tubes also help maximise fuel tank capacity, which comes in at 20 litres. However, the new V-Strom 800RE differs from its more rugged counterpart most notably by swapping 21 and 17 spoked wheels and tubed tyres for 19 and 17 cast aluminium wheels, wearing Dunlop tubeless tyres.

Like the V-Strom 800DE, high quality suspension is still provided by Showa, but with a focus on delivering superior on-road performance. 150mm of travel at the front and rear comes courtesy of preload-adjustable inverted front forks and a link-type monoshock adjustable for preload and rebound damping, delivering sure-footed roadholding and a plush ride for long days in the saddle. Stopping power comes from radially-mounted four piston Nissin calipers.

Further underlying the V-Strom 800REs prowess as the tool to explore all roads it comes with a seat height of 825mm, while aluminium, rubber-covered footpegs are set 14mm further rearward and 7mm higher than the V-Strom 800DE, and aluminium tapered handlebars are 13mm lower and 23mm further forwards. Theyre also 15mm narrower. A taller and wider screen offers more weather and wind protection on longer rides.

Nestled underneath the screen is a 5 colour TFT screen with dual display modes for day and nighttime riding. All the navigation of menus and features is done via a simple, easy-to-use rocker switch on the left-hand handlebar. Theres also a handy USB port located on the left-hand side.

Displayed on the bright, clear screen is all the information required by the rider, including the current setting selected from its three-mode traction control system which can also be switched off and the current power mode selected, from Active (the more sportier and direct throttle map), Basic (ideal for cruising or city riding), and Comfort (perfect for wet or cold conditions). There are also two ABS settings, providing differing levels of intervention.

A ride-by-wire throttle connection provides a natural feel and connection to the rear wheel, while a standard-fit bi-directional quickshifter allied to a slipper clutch makes gear changes slick and seamless. Theres also Suzukis low rpm assist and easy start function.

Sharing a similar DR Big-inspired look as the 800DE, complete with iconic beak and full LED lighting front and rear, the V-Strom 800RE will come in Pearl Vigor Blue, Metallic Matt Steel Green, and Glass Sparkle Black.

There will also be a full suite of genuine accessories available including a choice of three-piece aluminium or plastic luggage, heated grips, and a centre stand.

    <title>Kawasaki Ninja and Z EV models Spark a New Era</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/kawasaki-ninja-and-z-ev-models-spark-a-new-era</link>
    <description>
        Created to sit proudly within the 125cc class of current motorcycles, the new Kawasaki EV machines will be available in Ninja and Z family styles as Z E-1 and Ninja E-1 with both able to boast mid-capacity type chassis and running gear specifications delivering typical Kawasaki fun to ride characteristics mated to zero emission desirability.

With a near silent and efficient brushless motor rated at 5kw (with a useful maxim of 9Kw on demand) this duo of EV models rely on an innovative twin (removable) battery solution with the batteries wired in parallel unlike competitors delivering the advantage of more efficient charge usage. Enjoying a variety of charging options this twin battery configuration allows the sort of portability that heavy single item applications simply prohibit.

Clutchless, with no gears to change and with a simple twist and go riding style, the fun to ride feeling is augmented by some clever rider-centric features such as two riding modes (Road and Eco) plus an exciting e-boost option delivering an on-demand max of 9kw of power and acceleration (plus a potential top speed of 99kph where permitted) over a short distance thanks to a e-boost button on the right bar under the twist grip.

        Kawasaki Z E-1 and Ninja E-1 riders can also amaze their friends with a walk mode that allows these machines to manoeuvre at walking pace in both forward AND reverse particularly useful for tight parking spots or moving backwards up an incline.

Enjoying a unique Metallic Bright Silver and Metallic Matte Lime Green appearance which is to be the signature livery of future Kawasaki EV models the rider view is pleasingly dominated by a TFT meter with smartphone connectivity. Relaying such things as machine riding status, range, availability of boost function and riding level selected (Road or Eco), the TFT meter seamlessly combines with the easy-to-use throttle and 400cc motorcycle class ABS brakes and trellis type chassis to create genuine on road presence and the riding reassurance that has so far been missing in the entry level EV powered two-wheeler class.

Charging options include a charge docking station which a battery can be placed in or via a lead which can link the off-board charger unit to the machine via an under-seat socket with batteries still in place. Cool features about the advanced Li-Ion batteries include inbuilt charge indicators plus a symmetrical design allowing easier placement within the machine plus a handy lockable stowage area above the batteries below the battery cover.

With a range of accessories including +30mm Ergo-Fit seats and various charging solutions, the naked Sugomi style Z e-1 and sleek fully cowled Ninja e-1 models from Kawasaki are set to create another chapter in the companys illustrious history and open the door to a greener future for two-wheel fans globally truly a spark of innovation for a new era.

Both machines will arrive in the UK next month, with prices to be confirmed soon.

    <title>New Ninja ZX-6R for 2024 Kawasaki range</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/new-ninja-zx-6r-for-2024-kawasaki-range</link>
    <description>
        An iconic name appears in the Kawasaki motorcycle range for the 2024 sales season with the announcement of a new Ninja ZX-6R and its tagline Supersport Obsession.

Boasting a number of features not so far seen on the much-loved Supersport middleweight in previous iterations, the 2024 model has both technical and styling updates ready to satisfy the needs of even the most demanding street or track day rider. And with the aid of Kawasakis iconic Ram Air system a stunning maximum of 95.2 kW {129 PS} is produced at 13,000 rpm.

The most obvious aspect of the new machine is the distinctive aero-winglet equipped Ninja face with purposeful aggressive lines incorporating for the first time hybrid projector/reflector headlights (part of a complete LED lighting package), and a new sports windshield equipped with special cut outs to reduce buffeting. The entire bodywork for 2024 uses interwoven layers to create a 3D effect, with the multiple layers adding to a high-class design.

In terms of the cockpit area, a new 4.3inch (11cm) colour TFT meter makes its debut and also facilitates Smartphone connectivity via Kawasakis Rideology App. Information updates such as a shift light, Kawasaki service reminder, oil change reminder, Riding Mode indicator, Smartphone call and mail notices are all available. Also featured along with all the familiar vehicle status updates are a Bluetooth indicator and an Economical Riding Indicator.

From a technical perspective, the famous and highly praised 636 cm3 liquid-cooled, 4-stroke in-line four forms the core of the machine and now features revised cam profiles to satisfy stricter emission regulations plus revised intake funnels and revised header and collector pipes all combining to benefit low- to mid-rpm performance.

A move to round over petal discs reflects the current Ninja ZX-10R family image while such items as the SFF-BP (Separate function fork with big piston), KQS Kawasaki Quick Shifter, three mode KTRC traction control and both power modes and integrated riding modes underpin the high specification of this Supersport legend.

Rolling on Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres, the 2024 Ninja ZX-6R will be available in two colourways for the upcoming season, a green version (naturally!) in Lime Green/Ebony plus a more stealth version combining Metallic Graphite Gray and Metallic Diablo Black. For sure Kawasaki dealers and loyal fans of the Ninja family will welcome the sight of a new and comprehensively updated Ninja ZX-6R for 2024 keeping the Ninja flame burning brightly.

The 2024 Ninja ZX-6R will be available from October and priced at 10,599.

    <title>New season KX450 unveiled</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/new-season-kx450-unveiled</link>
    <description>
        Leading the 450 cm3 class charge is the awesome KX450 enjoying its first full-model change in five years. The 2024 KX450 benefits from a new frame and bodywork plus increased engine performance thanks to a symmetrically aligned intake and exhaust.

Handling performance is also improved, with greater front-end feel contributing to improved cornering performance to complement the KX450s acclaimed light, nimble handling and legendary straight-line ability. Aggressive new green bodywork offers improved ergonomics due to a slim, and smoother rider interface while upgrades for the coming season include premium Brembo brake components and ODI Lock-on grips (both firsts on a KX model).

In terms of tech highlights, the 2024 KX450 features for the very first time Power Modes and Kawasaki Traction Control, both easily selectable from switches at the left handlebar.

Riders can quickly select from two levels (Weak, Strong) of traction control to suit conditions and preference. Riders may also elect to turn the system off. Using the Mode (M) button on the left handlebar, it is also possible to switch between two engine maps (Normal, Mild response) provided in the ECU.

Additionally, smartphone connectivity allows riders to connect with their machine to adjust engine mapping directly from their smartphones using the application RIDEOLOGY THE APP KX to adjust engine maps including fuel and ignition timing while maintenance logs are also available.

Adding new features, plus carefully selected electronic rider aids, has taken the KX450 to the next level and Kawasaki hopes that 2024 season riders will accelerate ahead of the chasing pack towards well deserved podium results.

The KX450 will be available from November, with pricing to be confirmed shortly.

    <description>
        Suzuki has launched a new Service Activated Warranty, which extends a motorcycles warranty period after the initial three years through regular servicing at authorised Suzuki dealerships.

The Service Activated Warranty is offered once the motorcycle reaches the end of its manufacturer warranty period of three years, and is booked in for its next scheduled service within the Suzuki Dealer network. This warranty then stays in place until the next qualifying service. It is then simply renewed again, up to a maximum vehicle age of seven years or 70,000 miles, whichever comes first.

The Service Activated Warranty is offered to customers completely free of charge.

All major components are covered, and should the machine be sold between services and within the seven-year qualifying period, the warranty will simply be transferred to the new owner.

The Service Activity Warranty can also be enjoyed by owners of secondhand machines, even if any original warranty has expired and if there is a gap in the service history. Providing the new owner has their motorcycle serviced at a Suzuki dealership and goes through a Suzuki Motorcycle Health Check in the first instance, it will benefit from a fresh, one-year warranty.

For these customers, the Service Activated Warranty will begin 30 days from the date the authorised Suzuki Dealer service has been completed.

Denis Houston, Director Aftersales at Suzuki GB, said, At Suzuki, customer experience and retention are paramount, the launch of Service Activated Warranty will certainly enhance this for the future, ensuring our customers get the best levels of service, fitment of genuine parts and avail of the expertise within our dealer network rather than going to a non-franchised repairer once their manufacturer warranty expires. Offering Service Activated Warranty is free of charge to owners, is unique, and we are very proud to offer this as a strong message in support of our customers.

    <title>2023 Ninja ZX-10R and ZX-10RR focus on street appeal and racing success</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/2023-ninja-zx-10r-and-zx-10rr-focus-on-street-appeal-and-racing-success</link>
    <description>
For theNinja ZX-10Rmodel so loved by both street riders and track day enthusiasts, many of the most recent updates remain in place with an impressive maximum power of 149.3 kW {203PS} available that is boosted to 156.8 kW {213PS} with the aid of Kawasakis world-famous Ram Air.

In terms of aerodynamics and WorldSBK derived technology, the ZX-10R retains its integrated winglets for increased downforce and cornering precision while the Kawasaki Racing Team developed air-cooled oil-cooler also remains in place.

An array of electronic rider aids thanks to the integration of a Bosch IMU cover all aspects of machine control including cornering management, S-KTRC sport traction control, launch control, integrated braking plus engine brake control and selectable power modes and an up-down quick shifter and electronic cruise control. Riders can also link their Smartphone to the colour TFT meter using Kawasaki s own Rideology App.

With an engine that includes finger follower valve actuation (tech shared with the KX450 motocross machine), the Ninja ZX-10R rider can rely on the smoothness and accuracy of electronic throttle valves while riding feedback and racer-like precision is delivered thanks to SHOWAs BFF (Balance Free Front Fork) up front while rear suspension duties are covered by Horizontal Back-link Rear Suspension with Showa BFRC lite (Balance Free Rear Cushion).

For racers and race teams, theNinja ZX-10RRhas been a point of focus since its introduction and the big news for 2023 is the VAI or Variable Air Intake system. Fitted inside the airbox, the VAI system uses a set of movable intake funnels to alter the intake funnel height. When the VAI funnels are raised, intake air bypasses the system for optimal high-rpm performance; when lowered, intake air passes through the taller intake funnels, for increased low-mid range performance. Movement of the funnels is regulated by servos to maximise output at all rpm.

As standard, the new ZX-10RR has the funnels set in a static upper position and for many riders this will be all they require. However, for racers competing in National and International Championships, the VAI system will be another welcome addition to the Ninja ZX-10RR spec that also includes Pankl precision engine parts, a higher rev limit than the standard Ninja ZX-10R and unique Marchesini wheels.

To activate the VAI feature, racing customers will require certain racing kit parts including a race-kit ECU, loom and sub-controller. VAI is not activated as standard and is not available for those who wish to own and use a Ninja ZX-10RR on public roads.

Both the Ninja ZX-10R and ZX-10RR look to 2023 with optimism, the road machine with its legendary personality and edge, while the ZX-10RR in the hands of KRT and other skilled riders seeks to make the racing top spot its own once again.

    <title>Kawasaki to introduce Ninja ZX-4R four-cylinder Supersport</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/kawasaki-to-introduce-ninja-zx-4r-four-cylinder-supersport</link>
    <description>With specifications varying by market, the most powerfulNinja ZX-4Ris equipped with a high-output engine that delivers an exceptional 80 PS in a lightweight, compact Ninja ZX-25R-based chassis for superior cornering performance and acceleration feeling. At its introduction, the Ninja ZX will be the only full-fairing supersport model in the 400cc class with a parallel four-cylinder engine. It inherits the aggressive appearance and premium equipment expected of the Ninja ZX family while refining the sensation-provoking exhaust sound of the high-revving four-cylinder engine.

Whether a seasoned rider or new to the joys of Supersport, Ninja ZX-4R riders will experience the exciting riding pleasure of the &quot;APEX PREDATOR&quot; concept on the racetrack or on the street.

At the heart of this immediately impressive machine is a newly developed 399cc liquid-cooled, parallel 4-cylinder DOHC engine based on technology from Kawasaki&#039;s legendary Ninja ZX series of supersport machines, which is able to deliver a maximum output of 57 kW (77 PS) and 59 kW (80 PS) when ram air is pressurized*. The engine has been conceived to combine strong low- and mid-range torque with strong power at high rpm and in all riding situations, from daily use to on-track sport riding.

Equipped with Kawasakis world-famous Ram Air system that increases filling efficiency and contributes to improved engine performance, the air intake is located in the centre of the upper cowl, providing styling that is instantly recognisable as part of the Ninja ZX series. The Ram Air ducts are located on the left side of the front forks, leading to the airbox while the &quot;Ram Air&quot; stamping is visible to the rider to show off the performance of the Ram Air system. The ultra high-revving engine, which revs above 15,000 rpm, delivers the exhilarating exhaust sound that only a Kawasaki high-performance parallel four-cylinder engine can deliver.

In terms of chassis, the configuration is focused on excellent handling performance and is inspired by the chassis elements and design concept of the Ninja ZX-10RR World Superbike. Featuring a high-tensile steel trellis frame and a curved long-type swingarm, the frame achieves an idealised front-rear weight distribution plus an excellent balance of rigidity and flexibility, providing nimble handling and great rider feedback.

Showa&#039;s advanced SFF-BP front fork (Ninja ZX-4R SE and Ninja ZX-4RR models feature a preload adjustment mechanism) is featured with the rear equipped with a horizontal back-link rear suspension system offering the same progressive characteristics of the Ninja ZX-10R supersport model, contributing to the superb handling performance typical of supersport models. Additionally, the Ninja ZX-4RR variant features the same type of Showa BFRC-lite rear shock as the Ninja ZX-10R.

Braking power is delivered via 290mm semi-floating front twin discs and radial-mounted monobloc calipers, while the rear uses a large-diameter 220mm disc. The overall package delivers powerful braking force and excellent brake feel, response and power. In terms of braking effectiveness and grip, the F120/R160 tyre combination adopted is designed to match the Ninja ZX-4R&#039;s dynamic performance and provide excellent stability at high speeds.

At first sight there is no mistaking the lines of this new Ninja with its aggressive styling that exudes the power and instantaneous force that the Ninja ZX series is known for. The Ninja ZX-4R&#039;s high-grade appearance is also enhanced by the use of LEDs for all lighting, from the twin-light headlight to the taillight.

Electronic rider aids also feature prominently on this latest Ninja with integrated riding modes that link KTRC (Kawasaki Traction Control) and Power Modes. From four different modes - Sport, Road, Rain, and Rider (Manual), the rider can easily select the appropriate setting to suit the riding conditions and his or her own riding style. Also fitted to the Ninja ZX-4R SE and Ninja ZX-4RR is a dual direction KQS (Kawasaki Quick Shifter) enabling clutchless shifting up/down.

The meter panel of the Ninja ZX-4R is equipped with a 4.3-inch full-digital colour LCD screen providing high visibility and a premium feel. It integrates a track mode that displays lap times, gear positions, and RPMs from 10,000 rpm and above in an easy-to-read manner. The Kawasaki RIDEOLOGY application can be used to connect to a Smartphone for a variety of functions, including recording GPS route information and vehicle riding information.

    <title>Suzuki GSX-S1000GT top-selling sports tourer in 2022</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/suzuki-gsx-s1000gt-top-selling-sports-tourer-in-2022</link>
    <description>While everyones attention turns to a new year, Suzuki is reflecting on a successful 2022 that saw theGSX-S1000GTend the year as the top-selling sports tourer, despite only going on sale in April.

Final figures for the year saw 781 bikes registered, with the forecast for more than 1,000 units to be sold before the end of March 2023, which would mark 12 months on sale.

Suzuki GB head of motorcycles, Jonathan Martin, said, Of course, were delighted with the popularity and success of the GSX-S1000GT. It was launched to high praise in the autumn of 2021, and we were seeing a huge number of reservations and orders before the bike had even arrived in dealerships. Despite that, and though it presented challenges, we managed to keep up with demand and were on course to top 1,000 sales by the end of its first year on sale, which is a fantastic achievement and something were all pleased with and proud of.

The GSX-S1000GT seamlessly blends sports and touring capabilities, with a flexible, torque-laden inline-four cylinder engine producing 152PS peak power and 106Nm of peak torque, making it equally adept at motorway cruising as it is rev chasing on sportier runs.

That sportier performance is also enhanced by a bi-directional quickshifter and slipper clutch, while five traction control settings can be used to dial in the desired level of interference, depending on the road and riding conditions. The same is also true for three selectable power modes, while cruise control makes long distance touring a doddle.

All of that information, plus smartphone connectivity for calls, messages, and navigation, is displayed via a 6.5, full-colour TFT screen, with day and night modes.

Theres a twin-spar aluminium frame, superbike-derived swingarm, and fully-adjustable forks from KYB and a rebound and preload adjustable shock, while angular and aggressive bodywork creates a fresh look for faired Suzuki machinery as well as having the benefits of extensive wind tunnel testing.

Available in dealerships now, the best-selling sports tourer can be had for 12,499, while 13,599 gets you the GSX-S1000GT+, which comes complete with two 36-litre panniers as standard.

Or, on a four-year PCP deal, the GSX-S1000GT can be ridden away for 149 per month, with a 2,641.55 deposit.

    <title>Pricing for all-new V-Strom 800DE announced</title>
    <link>https://www.marriottmotorcycles.com/news/pricing-for-all-new-v-strom-800de-announced</link>
    <description>Pricing for the most off-road ready V-Strom yet, the all-newV-Strom 800DE, has been announced at 10,499.

Powered by Suzukis new 776cc, long-stroke, DOHC, parallel twin with a 270 crank, the V-Strom 800DE is born to explore and is equipped with a host of electronic rider aids and chassis features designed to help it tackle the rough stuff, as well as ensure it remains capable and usable on the road, too.

Suzukis new powerplant delivers 84.3PS peak power at 8500rpm and 78Nm of peak torque at 6800rpm in the new V-Strom, though riders can choose their preferred power delivery thanks to three selectable engine maps, controlled by a rocker switch on the left handlebar and displayed on a 5-inch colour TFT screen.

Also displayed on the dash in the selected traction control mode, with three on-road modes available to choose from and a G mode, for use off-road, that allows more wheelspin, which is suppressed only enough to help prevent excessive slip, so power continues to be delivered to the rear wheel with minimum interruption. It can also be disengaged completely.

There are also two ABS settings, providing greater or lesser intervention, plus there is the ability to disengage the rear ABS for improved confidence and control off-road, and a bi-directional quickshifter for seamless gear changes.

A new steel frame with bolt-on subframe and aluminium swingarm is suspended by fully-adjustable Showa components providing 220mm of travel and ground clearance. That ground clearance also comes courtesy of 21 and 17-inch wire-spoked wheels, front and back, running tubed Dunlop Trailmax Mixtour tyres. Wide aluminium bars and tough steel footpegs are designed to provide greater control when stood up off-road.

All this is wrapped in unmistakable a new, sharper, taughter incarnation of V-Strom stylinge, complete with a DR-Z-esque beak, and comes in the classic yellow that pays homage to Suzukis off-road racing heritage. The V-Strom 800DE is also available in a striking matt grey, with yellow accents, and subtle black, with blue.

It will be in dealerships in the spring.
